I don't like ND nation...at all. That being said, what an impressive stand on those last 2 plays. I always thought Kelly was known for his big offense but that defensive unit is phenomenal at just about everything. On a side note...fat guys should never wear single digits.

What a fucking game. 4 huge play by Irish win it. The catch in ot was ridiculous and stopping Both Jackson Earl Campbell twice on the galling was awesome.

Even as a ND fan, that looked like a TD at the end. Defense needs to be sure he's stopped before they run off celebrating, especially a guy who all game has gone for extra yards when it looked like he was done. That Stepfan guy is impressive though. For all the talk about how far down the depth chart they are in the secondary due to injuries they sure look good. Plus they haven't killed anyone or covered up any sexual assaults that we know of so far. Pinkett must be sad. Word is the BCS computer has them at 1 or 2, not that that helps if they lose, but nice to have in the back pocket.

It didn't look like one to me. It looked like his forward progress was completely stopped and the play was blown dead and the defense let up and then he rolled around more in desperation trying to get in the end zone.

I hate ND more than any other team in sports...but they have a damn good team this year. I doubt they can run the table, but as much as I hate to do it, I gotta give Kelly credit for rebuilding this program.

I was at the game on Saturday. It was probably in the top ten games I have attended and I am not particularly an ND fan (but I did have Stanford +7.5).
