Way too close of a game today against Ball St. Looks like a 23-16 win. Wimbush will cost them a game or two this year. |

Another big win by the Irish tonight with a 38-17 victory over #7 Stanford. Schedule going forward gives them a good chance of going undefeated. Book looking real good as well; better passer than Wimbush. |

The rest of the schedule is too easy, on paper. I don’t trust them to win out every game as favorites and even though the schedule looked good at the start of the season it’s much too weak to get them in with one loss. |

I am a little cautious about that Northwestern game; seems like a game they would have a lot of motivation to get the upset. |

Book is a good passer and can run a little; the offense needed consistency at the position because they have had all the pieces on offense but missed a solid qb. |
