My favorite part of the whole interview yesterday was when DAN attempted to to teach Beckman that what he was asking the media to do goes against everything that they are taught in journalism school.

Dan literally began that interview with "WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?".
I'm a few credits shy of my journalism degree, but.......

This past weekend was the Illinois High School Football Coaches Association clinic at U of I. Tim Beckman got Illinois St coach Brock Spack as the keynote speaker. Most major colleges get an NFL Head Coach or coordinator to speak. U of I goes with the 1aa guy.

U of I has also pissed off a bunch of central Illinois coaches for scheduling their first game on a Friday night this year. Beckman was called out on it in front of hundreds of high school coaches and said he doesn't set the schedule so not his fault.
