You can still jump in and have fun with it on a weekly basis Frank.

Its a little troublesome that so many golfers do not enter every tournament this early in the season.

It's definitely become that way now since guys make such a good living at it. Back in the 80s almost everyone was
out there every week. Now guys cherry pick and take weeks off before majors, only playing venues they like or
play well at.

Its fine you just can't find a guy on a hot streak and run with him several weeks in a row. In summer should be able to after Masters.

Just set my lineup. Please note that you need to have your lineups in each day by 4am for this tournament ( Fri-Sun)

I should make myself a note and set it when I come in from the bar.

4:00 is just the default time that they use. It will change to just before the first guys tee off.

When a round doesn't complete due to darkness or weather, the times get screwed up big time. These events on the west coast get started later, so it should be easier to set rosters.

Things are definitely screwed up for this one. I hope they can get caught up today so the weekend isn't jacked up.
I guess they cut back the field from years past which I was glad to hear. Having the amateurs out there doesn't
help speed things up.

It's hard to get caught up when they play 3 courses. The simple logistics are a nightmare.

Yes, that is a problem for sure. Has to be hard for the guys too. Play 3 or 4 holes today and then get in a car
and drive to another course and warm up again.

Well, when you are playing for a check I think it would be. I guess the term rough or tough is subjective. :eye:

Looking forward to this tournament as they finally play one course and the conditions will be toughened up.
Pretty darn good field as well. Was pretty tough to pick my lineup as you have some strong guys playing
for the first time this season.

That would probably be a good thing for me to get set up.

damn, wish I opened this subforum more than 2x a year. I'm already doing this, but just in a 2 person league with my wife. I have 1142 points so far. How would that stack up in your league?

I'll join next year for sure...or is there a way to put my existing team in your league for the rest of the season?

cool, I just joined up. It transferred over my total points, not sure if they will count towards the league going forward or not, but who cares. I'll just beat you fuckers on a week to week basis.

How does this week's match play thing affect the league?

There are no picks to be made this week. Play resumes next week, when the Tour makes its Florida swing, starting with The Honda Classic.

Play resumes this week with The Honda Classic. Florida means early start time. Picks are due by 5:45 AM.

Love it when they are EST or CST so I can watch the golf unfold. Already guys on the course at 7am when I checked.
