River's in the 10th is a solid pick.

What was the first team D to go and when? I've been trying to get my league to convert to IDP's (individual defensive players) but there's only like 5 guys who take the thing serious anyway, so who am I crappin? I'll be reaching for Denver come next weekend and I won't even feel bad about it.

Seattle went at pick 55.

I had a plan of no RBs until at least round 6. I am sick of drafting them early, and watching them disappoint.

Rashad Jennings is a solid pick there.

Pretty happy with Riddick and Jennings back to back that late. Riddick is a PPR beast.

I run a boring leaue, but I am in another auction format league with IDP and it is so much better... there's a little bit of keepers thrown in as well. The only downside is that it is rotisserie week-to-week scoring, which is weird.

I'm of the belief it would make things so much more interesting.

I suggested we draft punters this year and most guys didn't even respond back and the ones who did laughed it off. I also tried to make our league a dynasty format but of course people starting complaining so we've settled on keeper style hybrid of sorts. You're damned if you do and damned if you don't when you run a league.

The downside of the auction format with IDP is the draft is a bit long -- probably about 7-8 hours most years. And much of that is due to drinking/distractions but I really do like the keeper format... I have John Brown for $3 next year (we have a $250 budget) and I know I can have him next year for $4. I remember at the end of Favre's run, someone had Rodgers for $1 and got to keep him for next to nothing for two more years -- I would like it if we moved towards a 5 year keeper limit instead of our 3 year current one, but the risk you run of making it too long is people realizing they don't have a shot for multiple years and then dropping out.

Second week in a row that I have these awesome guys sitting on my bench and sweating out victories. Last week I needed DeAngelo Williams to bail me out of a game where I had 100 points in the lineup and 90 sitting on the bench... same thing this week -- Diggs, Bernard, Snead -- all on the bench meanwhile Rawls runs for -7 yards before getting hurt and Golden Tate must have just showed up for one drive or something because he sucked too. Sometimes I think I should just give up on fantasy altogether and get into hardcore gambling.

That Cobb 12 yard reception just kept me in the running in case Nelson scores.

I'm still probably going to lose this week unless Jordan Matthews gets hurt in pregame tomorrow, but the end of the Pack game had a pretty exciting swing for me when Rodgers (who my opponent has) threw that pick (to my defense, the Vikes). We were tied at that point but I now have a slight cushion going into tonight. Also very satisfying because I was wavering all week on if I wanted to keep the Vikes D starting against Rodgers, never expected them to outscore him.

I need only one point from the Eagles defense tomorrow... I can't imagine in my wildest dreams that Cutler won't be sacked once, so I think I am good.

my flagship fantasy baseball team (20 team 15x15 H2H league / 30 man rosters / 12 keepers / etc) entered today up somewhere between 20-8 and 22-6 (out of 30); it was whittled down to 15-14 by the middle of the afternoon, and oh yeah btw i was up 3-1 in (pitching) wins and 4-2 in quality starts.... and dude had 3 starting pitchers going today (while my jacob degrom return turned in2 elbow surgery and jharel cotton doubledip got pushed back to tomorrow) so basically, man, i was up against it..... if he got both wins/QS i was done for the season.... if he got 1 i think i had the tiebreaker (i figured it'd be regular season W/L record, but i hear it comes down to the lower ERA in the matchup) but yeah.... holy shit, this is why they invented the term #SqueakyBumTime, eh?

suffice to say.... *SKYPOINT* AKA "THANK YOU JESUS!!!! HOLY SHIT DUDE I LOVE YOU SOOOO MUCH!!!

(feel free to relish in that link cuz that's the first and last time i'll ever link you to anything of theirs. word is bond! =)

btw, now i get to go from dealing with the guy who was .275/16/36/11 on offense this week to dealing with the guy who was ~60IP of 1.94/1.01 with all the trimmings (ratios) this week.... oh yeah and of course he also managed to put up .253/11/53/5 while i managed only .259/10/33/3 this week..... so uhhhh yeah. sheeeeeit. K sera sera, no? i love this time of year about as much as i hate it tbh =/
