I can't be the life of the party on a weeknight!

See, the police take the life of white people as well.

Thanks Emmanuel for no days off during the holiday weekend and thanks Obama because I know you had a hand in this

I have the second pick in the draft. I'll probably go with Antonio brown

He won the league last year but Adrian Peterson always seems to be on his roster so I am anticipating he will be this year

I think I must draft a WR in the first. All this WR talk will lead to a run on them and I will be at the start of the wave. That should push down plenty of decent RB down to the end of the second round

This year my draft fell on a weeknight
In the tenth round I plan on takin’ Kevin White
In this windowless building on Howard Street
Can dis lawyer outsmart the police?

So I’m makin’ picks like Ryan Pace
Then a voice called out “Antonio Gates!”
Damn homey, Gates was my guy
So I swung and punched the cop in the eye

This pick is so bad that One Post might as well have made it for you.

Odell Beckham
Alshon Jeffrey
Mike Evans
Carlos Hyde
Jeremy Hill
Carson Palmer

I can't remember the rest but it wasn't a great draft for me. I should be able to have a middling season.

I took Palmer because it was starting to get to the point to draft a QB, the #1 pick guy didn't have one and he was going into a wrap around pick. I was going to be smart and take Palmer before he could and then steal Josh Gordon. He outsmarted me and took Gordon. I really fucked up that sequence. I could have gone four 1WR by the time playoff season started and cobbled together something out of my bad RB. That's the season, in my opinion. I let out a very enthusiastic curse.

The draft is probably 50% cops. There was a big screen TV in the draft room and a predictable response was heard when Kapernick news was on.

All we do is win.

The top heavy with WR draft theory played out well in week 1.

I may just be the best fantasy football player in the history of the thing.

If Carlos Hyde is going to be that type of player, I will be playing in my fourth straight championship game

He will be hurt by Halloween. Try to trade him now.

I've got the all time "will be hurt" team with Alshon, Hyde, Matthews, Evans, etc.

HYDE was dynamite on opening monday night last year too... IMO, the only thing that can prvent him from being a top 8 RB is his health

Post subject:  Re: My Draft Got Moved To A Weeknight

made my first transaction cutting Stills and picking up Forsett

I cannot tell you how many times I have had Stills on my teams over the years. I keep tricking myself into thinking this will be his year.

I was kind of surprised Forsett was on the waiver wire. I know he was cut then signed but he seems perfectly suited to being acquired in a late round move.

The being hurt thing along with the fact that the 49ers are brutal and they will be playing from being all the time.

and they play in a division that (until Monday) appears to be loaded on the defensive side. There will be at least 4-6 games this year where he will not be a viable staring option, unless he really emerges. I won't start him this week against the Panthers.

I'm going 4 WR (Beckham, Jeffrey, Evans, Benjamin) and 1 RB (Matthews, go Bears)

Cam and Big Dick Decker coming through for me this week.

Don't even need AP and still have Zach Miller tomorrow.

Alshon and Ryan Matthews made me the top scorer for week 2

I'm not a huge believer in Matthews as a player but I'd be very happy if he had one of those fantasy seasons where you look not knowing he had scored so many points.

If I can get production from him in the teens all year I can go four WR with Beckham, Jeffrey, Evans and Benjamin with good peace of mind.

I really stink and my draft logic was horrible

I had done a very good job of not being a slave to a draft philosophy in the past. I was a slave this year and am paying the price. I've also gone back to seeking long term home runs in my waiver wire acquisitions rather than getting me the guy who will win me the next game.

I've lost my way

3-4.

The Pussy Grabbers are on a 4-game win streak. Blount and Julio are killing it. Should be in third place after tonight's game.

I feel my 5-4 team has a better shot at winning the title than my 7-2 team does. It's all about weeks 14-16.

Put up 132........and my opponent had 137. Six make the playoffs. Top five in the standings. Sixth spot goes to most points scored of the five remaining teams. I'm in sixth with a 70-point lead on the rest of the bottom four. Looking good!
