another shitty week night draft. The league should know by now that there is little chance I drop my pants and do a victory lap on a Tuesday night.

On the good side, it looks to me like it is a four player deep draft in terms of players possibly going 1-1. I will get one of Johnson, Bell, Brown and Jones.

Just as last year, I am hoping to get Antonio Brown. Two of the guys ahead of me are the type who could just hand their money over and walk out of the room. There has to be a wild card in there somewhere out of those two. Maybe, just maybe, one of them will take Rogers. If not for the injury I would bet one would take Beckham. They have seen seasons crumble to injuries enough over the years that I doubt they will take the risk.

The guy who drafts first is a by the book type. You could almost let the computer make his picks. There is no doubt he will take Johnson.

I think I have to be prepared to take Julio Jones and I am very comfortable with that possibility.

4 is too high but Mike Evans is making his way towards top 5. He's going 7th in a lot of drafts. He's right there with the top WR's

How many in the league?

Your 2nd and 3rd rd picks will make or break team dolphin

12 team league, as always.

I love Mike Evans. His nondescript name and playing in Tampa have allowed him to be sufficiently under the radar the last couple of years for me to get him 2-3rounds.

I see the same questions for Evans as with Julio Jones. The Tampa offense is diversifying. Jackson will take the deep balls and OJ Howard is going to be a great player from Day 1. Also, Tampa has sucked this pre season. I'm a bit scared they are being overhyped.

As you said, I can't do Evans at 4. I don't think it would end up being a bad pick at that position but I do think there are better opportunities.

I got 5th in my 12 team PPR draft. My guess is the 4 you listed are gone. Leaning toward Evans but do not really like it.

I was doing mocks at getting Evans at 10, but when my real draft happened tonight, Evans went at 5. Ended up getting Howard and Gordon at 10, pretty happy with that. Could use a breakout WR but 3rd on the waiver wire, so can make that happen likely.

Rookie tight ends almost never have good seasons. Brate will have a better year than Howard.

Hope Julio falls to you and then go RBs in rounds 2 and 3.

Take Evans or Beckham with the 4th pick.

This.

With a new offensive coordinator in ATL, I'm not sold on picking Julio that high this year.

I took jones at 4. The first three went by the book. The guy who had the third pick was looking at qb and then grabbed brown

I have a nice team. I won't win the thing but I think I can meake the playoffs. I got Curley second hoping for a ounce back year. Then I got amari cooper 3rd which was a good pick. I got Ingram 4th so I will have to say some prayers at db. We can start 4 wr and 1 rb so I went wr heavy the rest of the way with very good results. I hope I hit a hr with tyreke in the fifth

Player Pick Number Value Above Replacement Value vs Pick# Avg. True Point Value
Julio Jones 4 130.96 9.09 104.77
Todd Gurley 21 76.20 -7.83 53.79
Amari Cooper 28 62.30 -1.18 49.84
Mark Ingram 45 55.96 -0.67 39.50
Tyreek Hill 52 48.05 2.11 38.44
Emmanuel Sanders 69 33.34 -2.06 26.67
Russell Wilson 76 41.24 10.26 34.93
Darren Sproles 93 13.89 -9.64 5.12
Kenny Britt 100 6.94 -8.30 3.38
Thomas Rawls 117 17.38 -3.00 2.79
Jordan Matthews 124 11.52 1.14 5.60
Matt Bryant 141 0.31 -1.83 0.28
Giants 148 1.90 0.42 1.79
Eric Ebron 165 20.29 16.39 16.71

Here is how it all shook out. The computer gave me a B grade. I really thought I got value at every pick after Hill. The computer didn't seem to think so.

I chose not to start Tyreke Hill this week because the Pats are so good in the defensive secondary. Dumbass.

Well, at least it puts me in the #2 waiver position in the first week. I hope the #1 guy does not take Cohen but there is still plenty there even if he does.

I'm targeting Williams to replace Johnson in Arizona.

I don't have much home for Kerwynn being a viable fantasy option but it seems like there isn't much out there outside of him and Cohen at RB.

Had a nice week with the victory already being wrapped up even with my Giants D not playing until tonight.

Gurley had a nice day both on the field and scoring in fantasy. Two weeks of good scoring. I like my WR group with J. Jones, T. Hill, A. Cooper and E. Sanders. I think I am going to stick with it rather than chancing on a productive RB each week.

I'm really worried about the QB position for the first time in many years for me with Wilson.

Yeah I agree I have Gurley too and he's been the MVP clearly I'm worried about my QB position I got Kirk Cousins and that Prescott you just don't get a lot of breaks with that schedule

There are no good reliable Tight Ends in football.

I have always believed you could have a productive TE spot by cutting your guy each week for a FA with the best matchup. No one is carrying more than one so the 13th guy in the league has a chance to be productive every week.

I cut Ebron immediately after game 1 and picked up Fleener. I'm going to ride with him for a little while as they seem to go to him when they are down.

I agree. Nothing wrong with playing the Doyle/Cook/Henry/Fleener/Miller/Ebron, etc group each week.

I'm sitting here 3-3 and as you would expect from that record, mediocre but in the playoff race.

Ingram's value has skyrocketed and I think I could end up being a RB based team now with Gurley and Ingram must starts every week.

I am very deep at WR but none of them have been outstanding.

I feel like a need a shakeup. It would be a bold move to trade for Elliott as he would be a difference maker if I make the playoffs. I think I just need to find a guy with an elite #1 WR but no depth and trade him my depth.

6-0

Second most points in the league and have caught a couple breaks. Guy I played last week had A-Aron and still put up 130.

Guy who took Beckham at 3 is in last place

I’m sitting 4-2 and made the move to get David Johnson for the playoffs. At 6-0 can’t hurt to try the same. Talk is he comes back early December.

Very possibke, but see him getting hurt between now and December. His style is just to abusive to his body. Father Time always wins in the end.

Ride Peterson one more week and sell high.

I'd keep AP but he's not going to supplant David Johnson if DJ is healthy.

I didn't start Cooper last night. That is one of those moves that you look back on the end of the season as being the difference between making and not making the playoffs.
