With everything going on with E. Elliot what round should he be considered?

I was thinking 3rd. I passed on him in the 3rd, and was amazed to get him in the 4th.

Yeah that's pretty solid. He went 17th and 26th overall in my two live drafts for money leagues.

Eh I typically don't follow rankings. Fitzgerald and Marshall are over the hill receivers and aren't no 1 targets anymore. Lynch is dead to me after a year away and I don't care for Blount due to age.

Man, do you even follow football? Fitzgerald had 107 catches last year and will almost certainly be over 100 again this year if he plays all 16 games. I don't like Lynch much either this year but he is unequivocally significantly more valuable than Blount.

Honestly they're all on my DND list. I'd only consider someone like Fitzgerald as a free agent. In the draft I'm going younger. If he explodes somehow then so be it. In fantasy I don't trust older veterans in the NFL outside of QBs and kickers so I don't use picks on them.

I wouldn't take Elliott until at least the 4th round. He is going to miss six games out of a 13 or 14 game regular season.

My hope is to start 2-0 and have Elliott's owner start 0-2, and then try to make a trade. Although, somebody who is dumb enough to take him in the first two rounds, will likely not be smart enough to realize that trading Elliott will help him in the long run.

Depending on how many teams make the playoffs though you can easily weather an 0-2 start. I usually take guys who are suspended or whatever because I like getting them at a discounted price even though I won't get 16 games out of them.

Yahoo's report card said I have a weak RB core. We will see about that.

Why are you down on Stafford? I drafted him late, after the Rivers, Carrs, Newtons, etc., were gone.

I'm not down on Stafford, but he probably would have been there a few rounds later.

It's funny because Walt thinks Stafford sucks.

I don't think he is necessarily being ranked low, but there are so many good QBs in fantasy football, that you don't have to reach early.

I go with the zero QB strategy. I'm always the last or one of the last to pick. You can get very good production from 12-15 rated guys. Pick two and out of those two, one should be in a position to give you a serviceable game each week

I go into most drafts with that strategy, but I will get away from it, if the situation calls for it. I had to take Rodgers at 35. I won't pass up that value.

Doing two money leagues this year. Drafted my second team last night. Full PPR, 10 team league. Thrilled Evans fell to me in the first but kinda fucked up the Russell Wilson pick. I think he'll be great this year but I don't really have a good excuse for that pick. Loved getting Abdullah with the 88th overall pick.

8 Mike Evans, TB WR
13 Michael Thomas, NO WR
28 Jordan Reed, Wsh TE
33 Russell Wilson, Sea QB
48 Carlos Hyde, SF RB
53 Stefon Diggs, Min WR
68 C.J. Anderson, Den RB
73 Darren McFadden, Dal RB
88 Ameer Abdullah, Det RB
93 Corey Coleman, Cle WR
108 Zay Jones, Buf WR
113 Jonathan Stewart, Car RB
128 Kevin White, Chi WR
133 Derrick Henry, Ten RB
148 Steelers D/ST D/ST
153 Wil Lutz, NO K

Made two trades tonight.

Diggs and Coleman for Ty Montgomery and Jordan Matthews, and

Martavis Bryant for Jonathan Stewart.

I'm loving my team in this league. Currently shopping Reed.

I think I overvalue him more than others but Crowell with the 50th overall pick is a great get.

10 team $100 1/2 point PPR league. Drafted today. Got one more league/draft this Friday.

1. A.J. Green WR PICK 9
2. Jay Ajayi RB PICK 12
3. Isaiah Crowell RB PICK 29
4. Joe Mixon RB PICK 32
5. Dalvin Cook RB PICK 49
6. Martellus Bennett TE PICK 52
7. Keenan Allen WR PICK 69
8. Kareem Hunt RB PICK 72
9. Donte Moncrief WR PICK 89
10. Derek Carr QB PICK 92
11. Corey Coleman WR PICK 109
12. Thomas Rawls RB PICK 112
13. Theo Riddick RB PICK 129
14. Buffalo Bills DEF PICK 132
15. Matt Prater K PICK 149

I got burned on RBs last year and it annoyed me all season. I probably overcompensated for that in this draft. Mixon was probably my worst pick and I think Hunt was easily my best, I almost took Hunt in the 6th round 20 picks earlier.

NO has a terrible defense but still, I'm trying very hard to refrain from taking a victory lap in this league's group chat

You traded up to draft Drew Brees in the first round?

6 points per TD with other bonuses for yards and completions (goofy scoring), the next QB's available were Wilson, cousins and mariota going early in the 3rd. Brees out scored my QBs by 100 points the year before.

I would have taken Dalvin Cook but he went at 3.

I need 4.6 points (2 catches for 26 yards will do it) from T.J. Jones tonight to win. Not bad for not having Tom Brady, Le'veon Bell, and Zach Ertz.

2 catches for 29 yards. Now don't lose a fumble.

My main one (Nas' league) just got above .500 this week (5-4) after starting off the season with the 2nd or 3rd points against total in the league (not saying I didn't deserve some Ls, but I did catch some bad luck in a league where I was one pick away from getting Zeke Elliott instead of joe mixon... Slight difference there [in that Joe mixon actually hit a chick and didn't really get in too much trouble for it professionally whereas Zeke seemingly didn't hit a chick yet is getting in all kinds of trouble for it professionally [via rule/article 46]]
