I'm on the cusp of losing even after the huge day from Mahomes and nice days by all three receivers. I am up 2 and playing against Alan Robinson. I'm not cheering against the Bears.

But you wouldn't be upset if the Bears won without Robinson having a big game.

In my main $100 league I am up by 2 and have Bears defense, opponent has Russell Wilson. I'd say there's about a 90%+ chance I lose but go Bears!

I'm counting on Mitch to make defending champions Nas 2-0.

I need the Bears D and Cody Parkey to deliver 12 points today. I trust Khalil Mack wraps that up in the first half again.

we have gone to a system where the kicker you acquire includes any kicker who might be playing for that team that day

After years of convincing I finally got my main league to drop the kicker altogether. It was a glorious day when we got the needed votes for approval.

Kickers in fantasy are worthless and don't add any strategic element to the game.

Kickers and IDP are great. It generally makes the league tougher for casual fans of the game. I'm kinda shocked that you are in favor of a vanilla league.

IDP is cool. Kickers dont make it tougher for casual fans, it makes it easier. Kickers are all blind luck. They decrease the strategy involved in roster building and increase the blind luck factor. Numerous studies and analysis of kickers in fantasy all lead to this same conclusion.

Kickers are terrible and it's 99.99% luck

Fantasy football is luck mixed with strategy. In general the best kickers in the league list doesn't change much.

Yup. If you can reduce the strategy and research required for a position down to one sentence - grab someone on a decent offense that plays in a dome or warm weather - it’s worthless and doesn’t add anything.

That's silly. Why not just go full-on participation trophy and have those rules for every position?

Justin Tucker has been one of the top 3 kickers for years and that clearly isn't true about his team.

He was 6th in points in 2017, 2nd in 2016, 7th in 2015, and 10th in 2014. And he's arguably the best kicker in the history of the league.

There's simply no consistency at the position from season to season when it comes to fantasy. Of course they have value in real football.

I'm going through one of those years where I get an opponents best game each week. Luckily I have had consistently good output and should be able to get in on points as a low seed.

played against another top score of the week and am sitting at 1-3

The margin for error is going to be razor thin if I am getting into the playoffs on points

Anecdotally, it seems like with the offensive explosion the league is collectively experiencing, rosters are more loaded than ever before. There aren't many easy matchups in any of my leagues. Usually there's one or two.

I still believe that your double WR pick at 12 and 13 was the correct call in the situation I was presented. However, there are many starting level WR out there even in FA while the RB market is very tight.

I'm sitting at 2-3. I'm only half a game out of second in my division with first most likely being a lost cause because the guy is undefeated.

I was able to pick up Smallwood and Engram this week. That has the potential to be game changing down the road. My TE situation has been horrendous all year and Engram coming back stabilizes the position.

Sitting at 1-4 with 5th most points scored out of 12 but 2nd most points against.

Very frustrating to see inferior teams with better records due to luck in scheduling.

I'm ready to cut Fuller, this guy blows. When I start Sanu he does dick.. On the bench he puts up 15.

I'm 5-0, have the best record in the league. but the guy in 2nd place (4-1) averages 30 points more per game than I do. I'm playing him this week and am projected to lose by 18.

4-1 2nd most points scored... 12 team 0.5ppr

Watson
Kamara, Ingram, d cook, l Miller
Ab, Evans, golladay, Marvin Jones, lockett, j Gordon, funchess
Jared cook

Been begging Gurley owner to trade me Gurley for Ingram, d cook, and ab and he will not do so even though his receivers are terrible.

But kamaras crap game currently has me feeling like a 1-4 team.

4-1 sitting with the most points.

I have Ingram, Edleman and Winston finally off of suspensions. Have traded for Watson and Alshon and ready to roll the league.

Watson, Winston, Tribusky
Connors, Barkley, Breida, Cohen, Ingram
Edleman, Jeffrey, Fitzgerald, Jordy, Gabrial
Gronk
Bear D and Parkey

I have 5 bears on my team right now and I view it as a good thing. What universe is this.

2-5. I took another team's best effort once again. I am in control of the first playoff spot to get in based on points. The losses are disconcerting though as it leaves little room for error and I'm getting to the point where even a long win streak doesn't get me in

3-5 after a huge weekend by my RB Peterson and Mack

It looks like my backfield has solved itself with those two getting better as the year progresses and Carson backing them up.

Now I get the Lions opening up things for Golladay to go along with TY, Brown and Hopkins (who will also benefit from Thomas).

I have had the best QB tandem in the league all season with Mahomes and Luck

Oh, did I also mention that I snatched up Olson from the waiver wire?

Things look good for me going forward. My thinking is that maybe I offer Peterson and TY for an elite RB and see who bites.

4-5 now after another big week from Mahomes. I drafted that guy in the last round as a backup I would most likely cut. It's ridiculous how I have taken afterthought QB in the last few years and they have had near MVP seasons (Mahomes, Wilson, Palmer, etc.)

Always wait to draft your QB. There are so many of them regularly putting up big numbers now that the separation just isn't that great.

I think the elite RB have re established themselves as the top of the draft priority (not any revelation as that is how it played out in this year's draft)
