I was offered Marshawn Lynch for Demaryius Thomas.

Both have the potential to blow up later in the year.

I already have Randy Moss, Ochocinco, Steve Smith (Car), Mark Clayton (Rams) and Maclin at WR, so unless he is really good, he has very little chance of regularly starting for me.

On the other hand I have Rice, Benson, Caddilac and Ricky Williams at RB so I don't need a bye week replacement. It looks like the Bills are looking to showcase Lynch this week so maybe a trade is in the works. Still, even if he is traded to GB, he is only going to split time with Jackson and I really hate having Packers on my fantasy team.

I would rather have Lynch for this year.

As if the "the board blows" threads weren't enough, now a thread about damned fantasy football?!?

They both suck. Make sure you spend another couple weeks thinking about it.

I wouldn't trade for anyone who has not made any impact on his current team and will not possibly do anything this year unless he is traded to a team that will start him immediately.

If he gets traded to the Pack, then trade for him. If not, hold onto thomas. If he turns out to be the real deal, you can trade him for someone with value. I can't believe someone actually has Lynch on their roster at this point.

Another thought:

Who, in their right mind, has the 3rd string RB from the worst team in the NFL on their roster right now anyway?

I'm still trying to figure out why the hell I run into a player's career game each of the last three weeks. Hence, I am now 0-3 this fantasy season.

Anyone got a good reason why I shouldn't drop Derrick Mason asap?

No. Drop him like a Led Zeppelin.

Believe me, that's the plan ... I just have to wait until Tuesday I guess before jettisoning his ass into the great void.

I'm in the same boat, I haven't even played him once. His fantasy value is zero at this point and should be dropped into the canyon never to be seen again. Picked up Mark Clayton and he already, in one game, has given me more heart, desire and passion than Derrick Mason ever will. I just need Garcon healthy and all will be well in my fantasy universe.

I haven't looked at ownership percentages but I would bet he is on more than 50% of the rosters in a 12 team league. After his 70 yard game yesterday, that will increase.

by the way guys, thanks for the analysis...it ranks right up there with the recommendation to trade Marshall for Westbrook last year

32% owned (racist) as of today. Even after that huge 70 yard game.
