Agreed. I don't think I ever really want to start Branch unless I'm in 20-man league.

Fred Jackson or Frank Gore? Ray Rice is already in, need a second back. I don't see Buffalo running up the score on New England, putting Freddie in a limited role.

The Chicago reporter for Fantasy Football Now said "it's soggy and it sucks".

I think I have the opportunity to send Joseph Addai off for Brandon Lloyd, straight up.

It would make my backup depth at RB sort of week, but would strengthen my WR corps, I'd probably start Lloyd most weeks. That being said, Decker has sort of emerged in that offense...will Lloyd still be a decent #1 option in Denver...or am I risking trading for a #2 wideout in an iffy offense?

Lloyd has a groin and if that's not bad news enough, it seems that Denver's offense has been scaled back quite a bit from the McDaniel's era. Both of those could limit Lloyd's production. That said, Addai is a complete waste of time and I would trade him for a pint of chilled ball sweat so run, don't walk, to accept that trade.

There is more upside with Lloyd. See if you can flip him for someone even better or at least with a better injury outlook.

Addai is useless at this point.

Why in the world would anyone need a pint of chilled ball sweat?

Which one do I sit?

Bradshaw
Fred Jackson
Chris Johnson
Steven Johnson

If SJAX goes the whole game, I'm leaning towards sitting CJ.

Both my QBs have a bye this week.

So I need to pick up one of the following guys to fill in:

Alex Smith vs. Tampa

Matt Cassel vs. Indy

Jason Campbell vs. Houston

Donovan McNabb vs. Arizona

Curtis Painter vs. KC

I am leaning towards Smith, but curious if any of you have good suggestions

Why would you go with Campbell? Houston has a pretty strong D

Curtis Painter.... anyone can throw a touchdown on KC. Just make sure he will actually be the one starting.

Which WR would you want for the rest of the season?

Santonio Holmes
Eric Decker
Mario Manningham
Pierre Garcon

careful of manningham - victor cruz is quickly developing into a favorite target of eli manning. cruz and nicks is looking like potentially a pretty solid tandem. manningham will still get his share of looks, but he has not always been the most reliable receiver. his run after catch ability is solid though.

Assuming a PPR league and given how the first 4 games have gone... I would say Eric Decker. He is heavily targeted. Normally I would say Santonio Holmes, but Sanchez has just been absolutely awful.

I still like Holmes.

Question for all. This week, PPR. Dallas Clark v KC, or Pettigrew v Chi. Thanks.

Pettigrew by a mile imo

I would consider cutting D. Clark... just a waste of a season for him in that Colts shitstorm.

Thanks for the Dallas Clark/Pettigrew assistance. It was actually for my dad. I thought Pettigrew looked obvious, but considered I was missing something.

This week, WR's, play three, non-PPR.

Mike Williams, Victor Cruz, Mario Manningham, and Darrius Heyward-Bay. Sidney Rice and Malcolm Floyd are on bye. I was going to take the first three without question. I'm watching Eli in pregame, and that wind looks brutal. I'm considering swapping Heyward-Bay and Manningham.

Cam Newton, Phillip Rivers, Darren McFadden, Arian Foster, Mike Wallace, an injured Antonio Gates, Jason Hanson, Chargers / Texans D's, and a very very very weak bench (no other RB's, Jacoby Ford, Steve Breaston, Billy Cundiff, Curtis Painter).

We play:

QB (Cam Newton)
RB (DMC)
RB (Foster)
WR (Wallace)
WR
OP (Rivers)
TE (i've been rotating this every week, but hopefully Gates soon)
K (Hanson)
D/ST (Chargers or Texans week to week)

Standard ESPN Scoring (no PPR)

Hernandez is awesome and so is Rice. You should get WAY more for those two than Bowe and Gore. You can't get rid of Hernandez if Gates is your TE anyways because he is iffy.

I'm floored to find my self in agreement with BC, but he's right on. You need to get a lot better value for those 2. If anything you need to try and find a sucker to take Gates off your hands before he shows the injury is gonna linger.

PLEASE CANCEL THAT TRADE ASAP!
Dangle Gates for a WR like Dez Bryant + someone else.
Use Gates' history as leverage.
Hopefully you play with morons, if not, just take Dez.

Could really use some help.

He's offering me DeMarco Murray for Dwayne Bowe. PPR league. RB/WR Flex spot.

My team:

WR's: Miles Austin, Brandon Marshall, Dwayne Bowe, Jordy Nelson, Robert Meachem, David Nelson
RB's: Arian Foster, Daniel Thomas, Felix Jones, Jahvid Best, Micheal Bush

So right now I'm obviously rolling with 3 WR's every week and two RB's. Best might not be coming back this year and Jones apparently is now the backup to Murray.

I'm leaning towards no because I have 3 solid WR starts every week and it'd be trading one of my solid starters for a still relative unknown in Murray. Plus I'd have both Dallas RB's which I hate to have.

High Risk, High Reward... Murray could be the big pickup this year that busts out and wins fantasy leagues. Or he could be a one hit wonder. Depends how you want to play it.

Like I said I'm leaning no, I feel like with injuries and waiver pick ups I can always have a somewhat okay 2nd RB option. If Foster goes down again my season is over. I'm in 2nd place in the league right now with the most points scored so I'm having a hard time convincing myself to make a big move

I'm sorry you play in an 8 team league.

This is not a trade question, but not sure where to put this and didn't want to start a new thread, but what do you guys make of Chris Johnson.

In the years past, I would have said he is the most dangerous fantasy player out there, and now and since he got paid, has done nothing this year. Is he still a must start or do you really have to bench him and probably the week you did, he would score 2 td and 150 yards.

Javon Ringer got some of his carries last week, and I see no reason why that will not continue. Who are your other backs?
