Yeah not ideal but I went for talent as opposed to need once my pick rolled around. Looking to swap maclin or Hilton for a RB. I valued vareen since it's a ppr league.

Do I dare sit Murray against the 49ers after drafting him with my first rounder?

I think Ridley, Garcon or Jackson might be better options this week.

Dont fall in love with your draft picks. Look at Emery with Shea...

I had the 9th pick last night. Not overly thrilled with this team. But I hated my team last year and finished second.

Stafford

Dez Bryant
Randall Cobb
Torrey Smith
Justin Hunter
Riley Cooper
Brandon LaFell

Giovani Bernard
Shane Vereen
Carlos Hyde
Knowshon Moreno
Donald Brown

Greg Olsen

Tampa Bay
Minny kicker

I think Bryant and Cobb could become a very formidable WR tandem if both stay healthy. As you know I love Vereen, but mostly in ppr formats.

I don't know what round you got him in, but if you're in ppr you'll be very happy. Check out his fantasy production in ppr formats last year. It's way better than what you'd expect against his ADP.

here's my flagship team this year, 2 years removed from the year i rained hellfire on the league with a brady/marshall/dez/cobb/t-gonz/bears team that went as high as 184 with 0.5ppr and in teh two playoff rounds dropped 148 and 162 so yeah, last year was the diametric opposite of that where trading for julian thomas, aj green, and tony romo couldn't stop me from bottoming out.

qb - brees
wr - marshall
wr - edelman
rb - rashad jennings
rb - reggie bush
te - witten
W/R/T flex - justin hunter
k - novak/SD
def - KC

bench/RB - bernard pierce
bench/WR - hakeem nicks
bench/WR - aaron dobson
bench/RB - lance dunbar (demarco's backup)
bench/didnt-have-the-balls-to-draft-manziel - andy dalton

i got raped on TE and defense, the latter of which had both SF and NE go off of the board in the last two picks b4 mine in a ~5 pick swing where i thought i was gonna start the run on defense by taking seattle off the board.

i kind of have tapped julian edelman to be wes welker 2.0 and i have him almost everywhere. returning to witten wasn't ideal but jordan cameron and vernon davis went in the ~4 picks b4 my pick so what can you do?

oh btw i just had to go and view my draft grade C+ report card (lowest draft grade in the league) and i read this

Draft Summary
cicero rockstars had the unfortunate honor of picking ninth overall. It is unclear whether it was luck or monk-level concentration, but cicero rockstars did well and is projected to finish third in #hardball League with 1,174 points and a record of 9-4-0.

well fuck me. how are like 9/12 teams having a higher draft grade than me then? i wanna be just like nas!

I'm in a 10 team league and ended up with a really good WR corp and solid RB group (at the sacrifice of a QB).

My WR are set in stone:
Julio Jones
Brandon Marshall

My QBs are Matt Ryan and Andy Dalton.

I'm set at RB1 w/ LeSean McCoy.
need to fill RB2 and Flex

Here are the candidates:
CJ Spiller
Emmanuel Sanders
Ryan Matthews
Ben Tate
Pierre THomas
TY Hilton

I'm leaning towards SPiller for the RB and Sanders as the Flex.

ANy opinions?

I lost my first game but scored the second most points in the league. Cowboys being down early normally would have resulted in some good Bryant numbers.

I have the highest point total with one guy still playing tonight. A small consolation after a disappointing end for my fantasy baseball team.

I had most of my team play at noon. I built up a huge lead usually good enough to be top scoring across the league in a given week so I didn't look at updated scores. I have a 1 point lead this morning. I won as he is finished and I still have the Jets tonight but oofah!

Bench the Jets. Don't risk getting a negative score, if he can't catch you.

Andrew Luck is looking like the pick of the draft in the 5th. I had a choice between him and Foles. Everyone thought I was foolish.

I thought I had a good draft. The computer said I had the worst draft in the league. If Arian Foster hits, I think I have a championship team

The computer apologized today. Unfortunately it does not understand that I am not easily forgiving.

I currently sit at 3-1 with most points scored in the league. Someone else is 4-0.

The only trouble I am having is with the 2-3 WR. Garcon has had some great moments and gets targeted but has only really hit on half his games. #3 has generally been a mess. Shorts is Mr. Glass. Wright has been inexplicably bad.

Garcon is your #2, and #3 should be between Wright and Shorts, dictated by matchups. Any Raider is useless.

Shorts and James Jones are gone

I currently have Quick and Marvin Jones. The rostering is the same even with those guys at this point. I really though Wright was going to be great this year.

I'm looking for Marvin Jones to be a guy I rely on in the second half of the season

I know. Bad move by me. The team was sending out BS when they knew he wasn't better.

Some douche in my league, the guy who only makes about 2 transactions per year when his D and K are on byes, decided he just had to step up this week to get Jordan Reed. He did this despite having one win, needs all across the board and WR that he should have picked up.

75% of the managers in my league are holding two TE over multiple weeks despite only being required to hold one. The height of stupidity and it has created an absence of anyone who can be picked up. So they sit there with the nearest guy almost 200 points behind me and I have to continue with Fleener as no one will trade me. Anything but the top TE are about as random as D and these fucks are going to stick with 2.

This is the closest I have come to losing since week 1. I am down 40 (due to Roethlisberger) with Murray and Bryant going tonight. I think I catch him for the exciting win. CBS sports projects me to get about 55. I'll say I get 35 from Demarco and 15 from Bryant.
