5-0! Not only is team not bad, I'm starting to believe it might be pretty damn good. Did get a little lucky this week as I only scored 110 despite being predicted for 140. But, opponent came up well under his prediction too and had 105.

Big dark cloud is injury to Graham. Hoping the bye will be enough to get him right.

Did a little tinkering. Picked up TE Allen from Indy to play this week with NO on a bye and Graham hurt anyway. Had to drop Andre Hawkins unfortunately, but he hadn't made his way into my starting lineup yet and with Dez, Maclin and Desean ahead of him it wasn't looking like he would anytime soon.

Also grabbed Oliver off the wire. Dropped Reggie Bush. He's hurt and he's statistically the worst player on my team so far this season. Drafted him high, my lone draft day error, but time to cut bait. Went with Oliver over trying to get Williams out of NY. Hoping that is the right decision.

I think I love to trade and tinker too much. My trades so far:

Traded Cruz for Crabtree - Unfortunate Win
Traded T. West for Golden Tate - Win
Traded Donnell (WW) for Mike Floyd - Incomplete
Traded Bradshaw (WW) & Tate for Ball - Loss

Thought I was selling high on a TD dependent Bradshaw and Tate who can't crack my lineup. Oh well, gamble didn't work.

Just traded Gio & P. Thomas for Forte in PPR.

My guy Bernard has been a rock but I think Trestman finally has discovered you feed Forte to win. Cutler will rack up yards but lose you the game.

Had to come to an end. Did it to myself. Lost by 10 and would've won if I had kept DeSean in there instead of putting FJAX in. Also screwed up replacing Newton with Dalton, athough Dalton did have a good game and outscore Peyton Manning, my opponents QB.

Now with Graham out a while the wheels could come off really quick.

think I righted the ship this week no thanks to Cam Newton. But, Maclin came through and the rest of my team played good enough. I'm down 2.5 points and I have Dez going tonight, PPR. I'd put myself at a 97% favorite, leaving 2% on the table for early game injury and 1% for total dud of a performance with 1 short catch or less. Even two short catches should give me the 3pts I need to win.

Looking like 6-2 heading into next week's matchup vs the other 6-2 team in my division.

Damn its fun to be able to throw out a receiving corp of Dez, Maclin, DJax and J Graham every week. Throw in the steady weekly performance by L Bell and my team has been real tough to beat this year.


This week not over yet, I'm in the clubhouse up 50, but the other guy has Donnel. Something tells me I don't need to worry too much.

not sure why you would say that, Dez and Graham were the only 2 in that list that were rated high on draft day. Maclin and DJax were both sleepers who no one wanted...Maclin coming off a big injury and DJax going to Washington to be 2nd fiddle behind Garcon. I drafted 9th out of 10 and grabbed Graham and Dez with my first two picks, then grabbed 3 RBs (Bell, Bush, Sankey) before grabbing Maclin in the 6th and Djax in the 7th.

So I'm trailing 147 - 104 and I have Newton and Maclin still to go, full point PPR. Our website is saying that I will finish with 150 and win by 3.

What do you think? If you had to gamble what odds would you put on my team winning? 50%? Less more?


That friggen Bryant 80 yard garbage time TD added 15 pts to his total which could be the difference. Also having that last second hail mary to Graham waived off didn't help, but he had Brees so I would've only gained about 3-4 points on that play, but that might be the difference.

so yea I'm a fucking idiot. Once again cost myself a game with dumb last minute moves. Picked up Matthews from Philly last week, had him in my flex and then Sunday morning found out that Steve Jax was playing so I took out Matthews and put SJax in. That's a -25 difference. Would've won my game and been 8-2. That's the 2nd time I cost myself a win with a stupid last second change.

My team would be 9-1 if we had a better manager.

Big games from Dez & Bell set the tone. Picking up and playing Baltimore defense makes me look smrt.


Next week its a battle of the top two teams in the league! I'm 2-0 vs him this year although I'm having a hard time inventing a reason why that proves I have a better team as opposed to just happening to get more points those two games.
