I offered Steven Jackson and the Jets for Larry Donnell and the Seahawks. I can accept that the guy rejected the trade. I cannot accept that he then cut the Seahawks because they are on a bye, picked up a worse running back in Taliafero and will have to cut Donnell to make room for a defense, but will not do it until tomorrow because we have a 24 hour rule for picking up cut players and Donnell plays on Thursday.

That is a straight out "fuck you even if it hurts my team".

Sounds like a smart move. You should pick up the Seahawks D and Donnell anyways.

A smart fantasy player understand the waiver rules in his league. I have used this technique many times. I question why anyone would outright cut the Seahawks Defense due to the bye week rather than putting them on the bench & opening up another roster spot for a fill in defense. I have been using the "play whatever defense is playing against the Jaguars" strategy in a couple of leagues & it has worked out very well. Chargers this week at home.
