I have a 24 team league that cost 150 a person. On draft day a guy couldn't show cause of last minute work and my friend drafted a second team for him without his input. That no show is now in the title game and is guaranteed a 1,000. What should the guy who drafted the team get?

He "shouldn't" get anything by entitlement, but if the guy wants to throw him a bone to show is appreciation that would be cool and classy. I would give him back his $150 entry fee, that's more than fair.

return of entry fee is a pretty steep percentage on 1K of winnings. $100 would be generous. A bottle of something would be appropriate. It wouldn't be a big deal if he gave him nothing. Someone was going to make picks for him

I cannot remember a time auto draft hasn't resulted in a pretty good team any time it has been employed in my leagues.
