First week back doing fantasy football in 7 years, and it's looking like a week 1 W. If Odell outscores Romo by 17 tonight I lose, otherwise I win.

can anyone advise me on golden tate. never owned him before but spent a 3rd round pick on this loser in a PPR league only to see him cost me a win this week with an underwhelming performance. patience aside, is he a reliable producer moving forward?

Yes. That was probably a bit early to take him, but he will produce.

I have CJ Anderson and have many of the same questions. Non-ppr league.

well if it isn't farvefan, purveyor of sucky bulls and packers thoughts.

personally, i'd move him - i'm not sure where you drafted him but i generally avoid situations where i have to rely on RBs who don't have some sort of a track record. sure this might mean i miss out on studs like foster when he first arrived but whatever. anderson emerged because ball sucked but then i think hillman made some noise when anderson went down or vice versa. basically if i had him i'd move him after his first big game. not sure how sound that is.

I got him in the second round, like the 14th overall pick I think. He was projected in top 8-10 I think, but I know Denver's offensive line sucks now. Not sure how easy it would be to move him, especially selling low, but I was thinking the same thing.

If any player has an unexpectedly huge week, and becomes the buzz of the FF world, it is wise to attempt to move said player.

That's too many leagues.
I did that many once. Ended up cheering against my own players too many times.
If I could actually remember all of my players.

Bishop Sankey got me 2 TD's and 21.73 points in my main league. I might trade him tomorrow.

Is McCoy in the midst of a Chris Johnson-esque exit from superstardom or is he just banged up/in a new system?

It's come to my attention recently that Dez Bryant broke his foot tonight. How much would this affect Romo's fantasy status? Anyone got a solid educated guess? I am not overly familiar with the rest of the roster.

I would guess it's a significant loss for Romo. Dez is a bad ass WR.

They have almost no running game (fantasy wise).
Witten is probably the best play in Dallas right now.

Makes Romo average. Not that he's any damn good in the late season anyhow.

He does struggle later in the year but Romo has always been a damn good regular season QB iirc - stat wise.

Romo has always been good at stacking stats. Under-rated.

So shouldn't he still be solid fantasy-wise, even without Dez? Garbage time stats work too.

I would think that they will still be pretty pass-happy.
Just not sure who is gonna catch the ball. :D

Who is your other QB option?

You should be starting Wilson over Romo anyway.

Depends on the scoring of the league.

Yeah if it's a drop a snap while holding for a place kicker and cry on field league you play Romo. Otherwise you go with Wilson.

Appreciate the advice but Romo was better this week.

I'm not sure. He slightly outscored his predicted number in my league. I think he will get enough production in the receiving game alone to make him viable as a weekly starter, but not a bell cow type of back

I love it when a defense (Broncos) gets me big points.

In the championship of one baseball league. Playoffs start today in my league where in the fifth seed. My pitching is completely shitting the bed (Cueto and Liriano mainly), plus who the hell knows when Kluber is back. I'm expecting a first round bouncing.

Won in 3 of my leagues. Drafted for my cousin's team and he won as well.

4-0 whoop whoop.

Drafting receivers as a priority has worked well so far.
