I played it daily a couple years ago. Now only once in a while. Great time killer and really realistic.

I am super late to the party on this one. Was looking for a time killer while I was travelling for Thanksgiving and downloaded the app. It has been
a fun little game so far. You can play courses on your own or play little 1 or 3 hole matches against others online. If it is like other golf games I
have played, the more you play you can buy better clubs and get better. It takes a little getting used to, especially the short game and putting
but overall I have had fun with it since Saturday.

Less frequently but I still occasionally play. I use the desktop though.

Using a mouse would probably be much easier than using my big fat index finger on my phone.

Yeah having the control over the shot makes it more fun. Also some of the better club and balls slow down the swing meter.

I progressed to Legend tier pretty quickly but am stuck trying to progress any further . Hitting from the back tees and still scoring low has proven to be tough . I play on iPad and does seem to be harder to be consistent on it versus using a mouse / desktop . All the top players use desktop . I can’t imagine how hard it’d be to play on a phone and try to compete .

It's been fun and obviously I don't take it too seriously. Will likely take a while to get into some good clubs and equipment. Working towards trying to unlock the Erin Hills course which is one of my favorites in real life. I'd have fun just playing that from time to time. Not much of a gamer so this is easy enough for me to enjoy.

Yeah I think on PC you can organize a game between friends , you can’t on mobile devices though.

O.G. Clashers!

I started playing about a month ago. Completely addicting. It reminds of going on a run in Vegas and not knowing when to back off or walk away.

I hit 95k then got greedy and played the 30k course. Now I'm scratching around trying to break free of the other really good players that are down in the 50/200/800/3k courses.

I joined a clan yesterday. THE Chicago Cubs, I'm Duffer.

You pretty much have to Eagle even to get into a shootout.

Yesterday, in a shootout, my opponent and I both had hole in one's. I had to nearly hole out again just to win the hole.

I started playing Golf Clash a week ago on the recommendation of a friend of a relative. I agree that it is completely addicting. I'm in Tour 3 trying to build my bankroll. I took a couple of stabs at Tour 3 at 3x buyin but that wasn't stable, I built it up to 5x, tried again and haven't dropped back. I really hate the Tour 2 courses, way too gimmicky. Tour 3 is more solid, except for the one Par 3 where you have to bounce the ball on a specific spot or else you can't get within 25 feet of the pin..

Is there a way you can play friends without playing only Facebook friends?

The problem I had with WGT was that a mouse/trackball on an underpowered Windows machine just did not work for me. The one hole layout is much better.

The only thing I don't like is that the putting and chipping are all gimmes. Pretty much any putt within 50 feet will go in at the lower levels. I'd prefer that anything over 10 feet be a bit harder to make.

I quit Golf Clash. It was way too gimmicky sending me on long losing streaks after long wins. They are trying to make money and Pitt don’t buy. Also I have never seen so many draw shootouts that blow.

I know play the knockoff Golf Rival which is also free and much more of what I want. Something to play to kill time.

I haven't played WGT in months. I got sucked into it for a while but got tired of having to play perfectly to beat people with better equipment than me. I wasn't willing to toss any money in to upgrade. Playing on my phone also had its limitations using my finger to control my swing. I kept it on my phone for when I'm traveling but have no trips planned until July.
