Good god this is amazing.
If The Taken King redeemed destiny 1... Forsaken is redefining the franchise. Raid isnt even out and it's been just great so far.

I played a lot of Destiny and Destiny 2 and I enjoyed both, but isn't it kind of ridiculous that we have to wait 1+ year into these games for them to "get good"?

But yeah all jokes aside you're right and I was a bit peeved that d2 came out without all the QoL stuff that destiny 1 had evolved. It was a bit rough. And the first expansion was garbage.

They just gave Destiny 2 out for free on PC for the entire month of November. The game is a year old or less, right? That would peeve me. I know games get cheaper from the $60 release...but for it to be free within 12 months...it betrays the day one fans.

I claimed it but have not installed or booted it up. Maybe in the dead of winter.

My goodness did the Destiny franchise do irreparable harm to Activision Blizzard.

MW4 needs to be stellar.

Overwatch can only prop the company up so much.

More like Activision did irreparable harm to Destiny

Activision Blizzard dug its own grave with the Diablo Immortal fiasco/watering down franchises/putting too many dollars into fringe areas such as esports.

I agree with you on esports. Stupid. Many of the layoffs were in their esports departments. I still play Overwatch from time to time and I have been fed up for two years with them trying to push their leagues on the average gamer. Watching other people play video games seems like one of the least exciting things I can think of.
