Demo is now up on PSN and XBL. Played it on XBL and I thought it was pretty good. Gus Johnson wants to make me think otherwise but still a decent update.

Game flow is MEH at best. Im looking forward to the game more now that I have played the demo. Ill be completed with a season after the first week of the game being out. Im on vacation again that week. Still debating if that is gay. Lipid what is your thoughts on the matter? Taking a week off for the release of the one videogame you look forward to all year?

Thoughts?

WIN. PURE WIN.

I wish I was taking the whole week off when Reach comes out, but the best I could get was two days...I have no doubt I'll get more enjoyment out of those two days of vacation than anyone else at work does theirs.

I actually thought about going to the midnight release of the game and thought about changing my sleep schedule to figure out a way I could be up til 3 am on Tuesday after the release. The wife called me a tool. Still debating what to do!!!

Up until 3 wouldn't be that hard I would think...

...I'll definately have to adjust mine...banking on a 10 hour campaign, and probably an hour of travel to and from the store, so I'm looking at staying up until 1PM...which at that point, I might as well stay up the rest of the day...

I lucked into this week of vacation and Madden is the one game a year that I usually go crazy over(more than the others I guess). I figured I could try and fall asleep early Sunday(drinky drinky sunday early) and than wake up super fucking early Monday. Than I would force myself to take an adult nap around 4 or 5 pm Monday for a few hours. Than wake up and be ready to go for the rest of the night. I don't see how this isnt a WIN on my part! :D

Demo is downloading now. I haven't bought Madden since '07 so I'm actually really looking forward to it. I had every one from I believe '94 or '95 but kind of got burnt out.

Last one I played with any regularity was '05...I was going to upgrade the next year until I found out they eliminated custom playbooks from franchise...

It just felt like the same damn thing year after year. I'm curious about this new play calling. I'm hoping that if I don't like it I can disable it. Like the stupid fucking passing cone and lead blocker.

Not sure. He was injured training so it may be a while. I'll let you know.

Time to hit up the demo.

Did you see they put in a thing this year so that if you win the Superbowl, you get to go to the White House and give the President a jersey?

http://gawker.com/5598898/meet-virtual-president-obama

Wonder who they have as the President if you win the SB after 2012 (or 2016)?

MOST. OVERRATED. GAMING FRANCHISE. EVER.

GTA is a close second, but was spared the top spot due to the sensational China Town Wars game.
