Anyone play/have this? I got it for my son but usually play along with him. We can't figure out what the glowy red stars are for. They'll be surrounding an object, but don't seem to do anything.

The force is not strong with this one.

You need a dark side character to use the force on the objects. You may not have one yet or you have them and you're not in free play and can't select them.

Also, there's almost always quite a lot you can't complete about the level when you play it in Story mode (the first time around each level). Once you get a number of different characters with different abilities (jumping height, force power, droid type, thermal detonators by bounty hunters), you can start completing all the tasks that otherwise were hidden or out of reach previously.

Also, IMHO, far and away the Star Wars Lego games are the best by far ... then again, I never played Batman nor Harry Potter (don't know shit about the latter). If it so happens YOU end up somewhat enjoying the Lego idea, you might like the Indiana Jones games, but not so sure about the younger set.

My girlfriend is the expert and she says the Harry Potter one is the best so far and the 2nd Indiana Jones one was the worst. They're releasing a Lego Clone Wars later this year too I think. I prefer Lego Rock Band :)

Lego Batman didn't completely suck. There was something amusing about playing as the villans.

My kids have Lego Harry Potter for the DS and love it. We have Star Wars: The Complete Saga for the Xbox 360 and got alot of playing time out of that.
