I heard some radio commericials about this and some tournament or whatever. Anyway, found this article out on the web about the Tecmo Bowl revival. I love it.

I have Tecmo Bowl downloaded on my Wii at home along with Double
Dribble, Legend of Zelda and Mike Tyson's Punchout ( i think I have
that one ). Pretty fun.

The only problem I've had playing is when all three of my returners get injured. There is no way to reset the game without losing progress.

i don't understand why you'd remake that game. what's the point? football games have evolved into madden. if you want to play tecmo bowl, play the NES version either on an NES or an emulation.
