The Witcher 2 has a 90/100 on Metacritic so far, 28 reviews...

Awesome.

I'm just starting to play the first one.

Pretty awesome so far, the combat system is pretty unique. It seems shallow but it isn't once you progress.

I haven't picked it up yet. I will. I just haven't been gaming much lately. I'm coaching two lacrosse teams, raising 4 kids, and trying to keep my job as well. I still haven't finished Mass Effect 3 yet!!!

I've been playing the shit out of the multiplayer. I also wasted $30 on Spectre Packs. #mudisastupidgamer

Ahhh... I kinda like the stealth games. Ever since Metal Gear Solid, GR and Splinter Cell games have had the corner on the stealth market.

I really enjoyed Crysis 2... story sucked, but gameplay was great. Couldn't get ANYONE to play multiplayer with me.

I've heard some amazing things about FEZ, an XBLA game. An old-style game which takes a really unique concept and executes it very well... making a 2-d looking game actually 3-d. At one point in the game you have to solve really interesting puzzles such as figuring out the 64-bit name of God.

Actually yes. I used to run with a bunch of guys online where we would be on the old Ghost Recon games for hours and hours. With the upcoming baby on the way I don't think I should even think about buying this game though. I loved the GR games back in the day though.

Yeah... I loved those games for strategy and stealth. Filled a good niche with the only real competition being Metal Gear Solid, imho. These days, I'm kinda not as interested. Not sure if I'm just not patient enough or there is too many other good games to play.

I guess another Sniper Elite came out, The first one was a great underrated game, took into account gravity, wind ect... had some decent strategy behind it too. The only downside was that the graphics were god-awful. If the new one stays true to form, it could be a classic with updated graphics.

good gameplay of the first one...

Looking forward with reserved excitement for the new Spider-Man game. If its good I'll be happy, if its not I really don't care.

The one I'm really looking forward to is Borderlands 2, or as I like to call it, the only FPS game that doesn't cause me to throw up after 10 minutes.

Apparently the Ghost Recon fans won't be disappointed with Future Soldier. I'm too ADD to do well in these type of games.

But Tomb Raider came first. And this has a gritty, realistic survival feel to it...without the camp and clean feel of the Uncharted games.

If by gritty you mean worse graphically then I agree.

It definitely has more of a 'raw' feel to it..at least that's my first opinion from watching the trailer. I'll definitely play it.

Uncharted 3 is one of the best games ever made, to even be in that conversations means you created something special.

Not an original thought...just something I was reminded of after seeing the back and forth on Uncharted versus Tomb Raider...

...remember when Uncharted was revealed and people were joking that it was "Dude Raider?" Yeah, we've come full circle...

I hope you are right. I had tons of fun on the original Tomb Raider. But that nostalgia isn't enough to make me return to the series without some interesting mechanics or gameplay twists. What I'd really like to see is a more unique puzzler/platformer... maybe TombRaider + Portal = fun?

Lol. I'm not sure Portal would fit in too well...but this IS Tomb Raider. I can't imagine they would skip over puzzles.

Yeah... i know, but I was just thinking of something like Portal where a puzzle/platformer can utilize interesting mechanics. We are dealing with a "fantasy" world to some extent, so the puzzles don't necessarily all have to be based in real world physics.
