Any players? Hello? Is this thing on?

Also, are there any good (in your opinion) games out there that don't require an internet connection?

Eh ... I'm giving it a shot ... 10 minutes in and it's hardly the worst thing I've ever seen.

There are some fun sports cards collecting games I enjoy. 2K Sports MyNBA2K14 and Topps Bunt and Kick are the best.

Trivia Crack is ok. The questions are fun but the games take too long.

With regards to games that don't require internet, and if you need to kill 5-10 minutes in a pinch, for $2.99 there's a shitload of card games (lots of solitaire variations, euchre, spades, hearts, matching games, etc.) called 'Card Shark' ... this is in the Apple app store ... don't know about Android.

Spekaing of Android, if you like crosswords, there's a WONDERFUL and FREE download just for you called 'Shortyz Crosswords' or something close to that .... it pulls in quite a few free puzzles from a number of sources and it can go back quite far in time ... also no ads either ... the guy made a great app and doesn't spam you with anything, and fairly consistent updates, few if any 'crash' problems. Nothing remotely like it for Apple with all those qualifications.

Get the game Threes, its the best $1.99 I've ever spent. Seen it ranked as high as top 5 for top games of the year (not just ios games). Me and the wife got it last week and its addictive...constantly trying to beat each other's top score.

If one is so inclined, there is a small alliance looking for more folks who happen to play 'Marvel Puzzle Fighter' ... search for CSFMB and checkmark the 'private' checkbox.

If you don't abhor Marvel and you don't abhor match-3 type games, I believe you'll enjoy this game enough to give it a spin.

Another of the free-to-play but a few bucks might help type games.

Full disclosure, I've spent $5 on it, but frankly only because early on I got pretty lucky with some of my character rewards and frankly could use the roster space at the time ... otherwise, it's not at all impossible to play w/out spending nothing.

I would think they are both on the same level

I am fairly certain that Ivan googles every answer.

Ivan and I have a pretty good rivalry. I'd say we're pretty equally matched.

I quit playing because it was too easy. And some of the questions seem written by people for whom English is a second (or third) language.

I think it has gotten considerably easier over the past couple weeks. With the growing popularity of the game, the dopes are now into it, and dragging the quality of the questions down. It was much harder about 3 months ago.

The aforementioned 8-ball pool is fantastic. If you like to compete with young jihadists and Brazilian bros., this is the game for you. Americans are a small minority.

How do I play against you guys in Trivia Crack? I just started playing it last month.

But I have trouble finding friends on the App....most of the people I know are on TC aren't listed as options for me to play against.
