I have data only on this drive which was drive #2 in my old computer.

How do I put it in this new computer? Data cables and power plugs on this computer are completely different. Or am I better off getting something to convert this internal drive to an external one?

Wow...IDE...

Your new PC is SATA. Your old HDD is IDE.

You can try to find an IDE external enclosure. I m sure there are IDE to SATA adapters also.

Thanks, Indeed there are all kinds of adapters. One like this seems the most versatile.
