As you know, everything is about Millenaials and what they do or dont like.

well, they dont play slots in vegas or anywhere else.

Do love how Nevada will move on any Law the gambling industry wants approved.

In June, they approved Video Games of skill to become Legal.

Yes, maybe one day Lipid and Sini can play Halo for a living....but this was the example of G2's first try at a tank game that amasses point = to $$$$.

MY SOURCES tell me they are still at least a year away from delivering something to a casino....

Its a raw version of something, but its coming....the new look of your casino...

PAC $ MAN

Are these games parimutuel? How does the operator make his money?

If these games are truly parimutuel they may be the answer for Kentucky where the operators are about to run into a big problem with the legality of their slot machines. Straight slot machines are illegal in Kentucky. But someone came up with a machine that pulls results from old horse races. It's really just a dressed up slot. But the operators took the position that because it's based on historic races it falls under parimutuel. It's called "Instant Racing". A bunch of tracks in hillbilly areas of the state opened slot rooms and really pumped up the purse money for their racing meets. Nobody really seemed to care when that shit was confined to places like Franklin and Paducah. But now Keeneland and the Red Mile have created a joint venture and have a 902 position casino in downtown Lexington and the screaming about legality has begun. Some people figure that there is no downside for the operators as they can tie things up in court long enough to minimally break even even if they ultimately have to shut the casino down. And their end game may be to feed so much cash to the state from that slot room that the legislature is loathe to lose the money and will change the law.

Anyway, it seems a parimutuel skill game where people play against each other would meet the criteria of the current law. Although I have my doubts there are enough sinis and lipids to make up for the fat old Rascal drivers who are playing Instant Racing.

Dont think it is a para scenario. Its a brand new law in nevada and there are no games out. The tank game was an example as they wanted to get something out for a gaming expo this week in Vegas.

There is a slot right now in vegas, that I though had some "SKILL" portion to it as a Bonus. It was a fishing slot machine. So when you get a Bonus spin, you get to fish for MONEY via a Joystick.

So while the game was chance, the bonus was Skill. Hybrid

Yup,,,,and much more coming.

Racing games, shooting games, etc.

I think the BONUS potential will be the first of these types of games as they can control the maximum winnings that way.

Everyone has seen people that have mastered games, like those guys who play Golden Tee. Would guess IT is on this as well as I always felt they offered this anyways, when you could win $100 for a hole in One if you paid an extra $1. felt like gambling to me>?

The electronic crane machine is the mechanized equivalent of ring toss or milk bottle pyramid. The device is built to hardly function, yet our inner curious ape will not be denied. I will say it requires skill to consistently win, but in order to have any experience with these things you need to lose a lot of money in practice. In the end when you finally masterfully collect 30 cent stuffed animals filled with asbestos, you've already dedicated a solid $10+ in change to the machine.
