I hope this is not some fake story.

But, here's another way to view this "new info" if it ends up related to the door rope.

Somebody noticed that the garage door pull that they've been looking at all week looked like a noose, cut it off and threw it on Bubba's car.

Most people aren't generally walking around with rope nooses.

Like the dipshit mayor of Oakland who ordered 5 “ nooses” hanging from trees last week ? The ones put there by a black guy who used them to exercise , they were actually stirrups for his feet as he demonstrated on video but the mayor still had them removed .

Someone from Bubba's team is the one who reported it. Who was that person? Was he (or she) new to the pit and never saw a door pull before?

How does it take 2 days to announce that there wasn't a noose at all?

According to Dan/Danny today, it was a NASCAR official who recognized the rope tied as a noose and reported it.

I have multiple garage doors here without electric openers. Not a single one has a rope that is not tied to the wall and to the door.

I believe entirely that it was a garage door pull.

But why is it so low? Seems a back-straining way to pull it down.
