She has nothing to gain. Nothing in this race affects her pole position. Maybe if she wrecks though she would have to go back of field in the 500 with a backup?

Yes.

She has little to gain and when the inside line didn't go anywhere she dropped out of the guys going 3-wide.

Doc, Danica Patrick's first Daytona 500 was forgettable to say the least. She finished 38th after an early crash a year ago. I'm not holding my breath she does much better Sunday.

Whenever I see a car in a NASCAR event minus ads all over the car, that's exactly what that means. I also think RedBull might have pulled out as a sponsor in the offseason.
