like much of mainstream America, I may well be tiring of NASCAR. I did not see any local track action last summer- the closest track is reopening this year, so hopefully, that will change. Since my pal and coworker was seriously, life-altering-ly injured in a racing wreck, it just doesn't have the same feeling for me.

I live a mile from an old school late model dirt track like Sante Fe used to be. I don't like that racing too much though.

Hi Don, Long time listener first time caller.
I have a question for you. Why are my point total so low? I mean I have out of 3 races 1st place ,2nd place and 11th place?
Also Sunday racing is so ingrained on the NASCAR history with weather more and more becoming crappy on Sundays leading to very late races or Monday racing. Do you think there will be more of a swing to Saturday racing?

You might want to go double check your finishes. I am on my phone now, I will investigate when I get on my laptop. Sunday is race day. Holidays and summer heat are the reasons for Saturday night racing. And Saturday night is the big night at the local track too.
