I liked the "condensed" version of this past weeks race at Texas vs the week before at Homestead. Fox did the right thing stepping in on that.

I'm good without watching video game cars run laps under caution.....20 times.

Agreed. I think we will have a different world when this is over.

NASCAR, in particular, might be shifting. Why does a guy have to risk his life when everybody enjoys the video game watch just as much.

I'm not sure. I'd still prefer the real thing, but this scratches the itch in these times.

Like the respected Greek Philosopher Clintavius Bowyercles once said: "the worst thing about these virtual cars is that you can't give the other drivers a virtual hand signal out of the window".

There is only one good, knowledge, and one evil, ignorance.

I think that guy So-Crates from Bill & Ted said it.

Is this a thing, and I'm too old to know it? I saw it elsewhere on the inter webs, and just thought they were bad spellers- it should be "Whoa" right, like you would say to a horse to stop it?

Maybe it's like secanted, balck, teh, nancy, etc.

I watched it. The sprint cars race was pretty good, late models were ok.

 It is amazing that this comes from a group that got their big jumpstart from 2 of their drivers getting in a fist fight on national TV

I'm in 100%...but this is nuts!

4 CUP races in 11 days, at 2 tracks (plus like 5-6 other races)
No fans.
No green-flag pit stops.
No Practices.
No qualifying....for now.....
No crew/drivers staying overnight on site.

Whew, buddy. Like I said, I'm totally watching (and probably wagering something), but this is a different sport. Especially with Darlington in the mix 2x.

It is going to be interesting.

How do no green flag pit stops help anything?

It reduces the size of the pit crews (the "over-the-wall" guys vs the regular mechanics/engineers).

I understand the numbers, but I'm not sure I understand the logistics. I guess what NASCAR is saying is that the high paid "over the wall" guys will also be doing the peon stuff behind the wall. That's all I can figure. They will be carting tires and loading/unloading.
