That fat fuck McDowell pushed the #2 car right into Logano, causing the crash

Fuck him!

Why hasn't the TV crew mentioned this yet? I'm no expert but that's what I saw too

It is a replay of 2018 when Dillon spun Almirola going into turn 3.

This goes on every year, all during the race. Hell it happened on lap 14 when the Shrub pushed the 20 and caused that pile up. At the point you are talking about though, it is time to win, no holds barred.

Let's give him some time to grow into the broadcast. Joy and Gordon definitely needed another voice in the booth and one with energy. When Bowyer finds his groove he'll be an enjoyable listen.

I have always liked him, and you are probably right. He was trying really hard early on yesterday, I want him to succeed.

I watched most of the finish of stage 1 and all of stage 2. Start of stage 3 it was time for bed....hit it pretty hard Saturday and was up at 5am to take my wife to the airport.

Just watched the finish.....exactly as you described....#34 totally caused that crash, and still one. I'm not familiar with the rules and I don't get how the teams are comprised, but I enjoyed this a lot more than I thought I would. It was very entertaining. BUT....the race desperately needs to start with the DW "Boogity Boogity Boogity".

RR.....a bad attitude is probably the only reason I never gave it a chance until now. Most NASCAR fans I've encountered are like Packer fans, but more drunk and louder. It was just a total turn off. I should have given this a chance a long time ago

I disliked the idea of Nascar when I was much younger even though my dad and sister were both fans. It was a hillbilly, southern sport that I didn't want anything to do with. There was nothing else on during the '97 Daytona 500 so I watched it with my dad. They kept talking about the young phenom Jeff Gordon. He was the outsider, the anti-Dale Earnhardt, and just a few years older than me so I instantly started rooting for him. Gordon won that race, the next week, and by the spring Bristol race (Bump-n-run on Rusty) I was completely hooked. It also helped that Gordon won 13 races that season in one of the most dominant seasons ever. I've probably missed fewer than 5 races since that time.

Great to see Bell pass Logano for the win. Road courses are fun. They have 6 of them on the schedule this season.

That was an excellent race. Awesome to see Bell run down the big nerd from a good 4 second gap in just a handful of laps. Larson had a hell of a run but came in way too hot way too soon and lost it into the tires. He probably had the car to beat with Bell. Thankfully logano lost. Fuck him in every hole possible.

:P I was trying to explain to my daughter why no one, except his family and his 10 fans, wanted to see Logano win. She had him in our pool while my son had Bell. Good stuff.

Good race today. Homestead has become a really good track with the way it changes from daylight to dusk and the allure and risk of running the wall. They shouldn't have changed the title race to Phoenix IMO. The booth with Boywer is really starting to find its groove. While I like Joy and Gordon, they needed an influx of energy. Great to see the #24 car in victory lane.

Gordon was born in California and lived there till his family moved to Indiana so he could race sprint cars as a teenager. Gordon always dreamed about the Indy 500. It wasn’t till a lack of sponsorship and a ride that made him turn to stock cars. Gordon is arguably the biggest non-Southern star NASCAR has ever seen.

I would agree with the last sentence.

Just having a little fun, I know the back story. I started following open-wheel racing in the early '90s and lived in Indianapolis for 3 years. NASCAR shrewdly marketed him as a California kid, but he was more redneck than anything else by that point.

Didn't take Larson long to get in the winners circle, and it won't be his last.

They really need to move start times up earlier. I was looking for a race and a prerace show around noon, couldn't believe none were on, started watching movies and never gave racing another thought.

Nascar fans have been saying this for years but the networks want the late afternoon starts. What's especially maddening is when they know that rain is predicted in the late afternoon and they don't move up start up times.

So start the race in Vegas at 10:00 in the morning their time, that doesn't sound like a good idea.

Finished 11th out of 1100 in my DraftKings pool today. Larson, Reddick, Blaney, KurtBusch, Suarez, and EJones.

On a side note, a couple weeks back I posted in the comments of an Athletic Nascar article about how often Jr. and Burton would talk about the "pace" of a car instead of simply saying speed. I watch both the Xfinity and Cup races every week and you would get drunk if you took a drink every time they mentioned "pace." A couple other commenters agreed. Ever since then there has been a significant decrease in their usage of the phrase "pace" of a car. Maybe it is just a coincidence or maybe someone read those comments.
