So I guess the next question is how much is NBC and Nascar willing to pay Chicago to fuck things up for 2 weeks in the middle of summer?

Their current car is better for road racing than ovals. Nascar should build a road course. Watkins Glen is the only track they haven't had to rip seats out of it since the slump. What they did to Charlotte is criminal.

I think in the last 30 years they haven't sold out the Nascar race only twice. That's without removing seats like all the other tracks. Watkins Glen is a great track. We're fortunate to have 3 of the best road courses in the World here. It would be hard to choose a favorite out of Watkins, Road America, and Road Atlanta. I've done track days at all 3 and I'd probably give Road America a slight edge. COTA on the other hand is trash. Worst designed track I've ever driven. What a wasted opportunity.
