They ran a Camaro at Le Mans this year that was pretty cool. They thought it would be the slowest car and so slow thru Porsche the marshalls would have to waive white flags when it was coming thru. It turned out to be faster than the Porsche and Ferrari GT cars. This is what a proper American race car should sound like.

Speaking of a Chicago Grand Prix, a buddy of mine is into racing and I went with him to the Joliet Autobahn Country Club to pick up a car. I had no idea that place existed. All these Corvettes were running the track and we watched for a little while. That would be a fun hobby if someone had FU money.

Its also going to rain on and off almost all of Saturday and into Sunday morning/early afternoon.

I think this scheduled race has gotten the best of people. Yesterday (Thursday) driving Northbound on 41 in Lake County....there were an unusual number of cars speeding, weaving and driving like assholes. Moreso than a normal day.
