I continue to be amazed that this contest always comes down to the last week with people within a point or two. This year, however, is unprecedented as 3 (3) people are within a point leading to the last week. That's 1 more person than in the actual NASCAR point system. If Mike Helton wants to blow in a call to my people, I could give them some tips.

I toyed with the idea of making the top 3 pick a third (third) driver this week to make it interesting. But, as there is still an outside chance that doug, chas, or newper could still win this thing, I decided against it.

So, there are no rule changes this week, as much as that pains me. Everyone will pick one of the drivers that they have left. Here are the drivers available for the top 3 (3) -

Frank -
--J.Gordon
--Newman
--Keselowski

KS -
--Edwards
--Keselowski
--Hamlin

HH - will be taking Tony Stewart

If anybody would like to keep their picks secret, PM them to me or send me a registered letter. I will try to post all the picks prior to the race SO ALL PICKS ARE DUE BY FRIDAY AT NOON.

If I fail to post them and am accused of cheating on behalf of the winner, please know that am, in fact, likely cheating on behalf of the winner. Let's not have any misconceptions about my integrity.

Alright, here we go. Boys and you chick, $100 (bucks) on the line (unless Dale Jr. miraculously defies the intrinsic laws of math to win the Championship)..have at it.

I've really enjoyed participating in this and NOT because Tony es en fuego! I'm actually a little :oops:

to have even been a contender because when I told Dr. Ken I only wanted to play if I could have Tony every week, I really didn't think he'd say yes, but most of all because I never imagined HE would be a contender! :shock:

Anyway, thanks for letting me play, and I'll probably end up missing my Thursday meetings with my esteemed research team! :wink:

Well, to be honest, neither did I. And I like Tony.

I've gone back and forth on whether I think this was fair and I've come back squarely that it is and is a wrinkle that has added to the enjoyment. My thought is, and I truly believe this, nobody would have taken Tony Stewart every week when The Chase began. Tony wouldn't have taken Tony every week.

I love having crazy rules and this has been one of my best. Good luck.
