These used to be my favorite races to watch. Qualifying is terrible, the shootout is ok but these races are fun as hell. It would be better if there were more drivers that had to race their way into the field but they should still be fun.

Where the hell are Don and the con? Pull a candyman card and take the day off to cover the races already.

I am here at work. I will be trying to provide some insights into the race. I took a couple of pto days last year for the race and Friday. I don't work in the salt mine anymore. Thank god!! I will have ay least a couple of monitors on here at the bar watching the races.

I'm ready for some good racing!! The faster speeds with these new cars should be a thing. I haven't seen them draft in practice so hopefully that tandem crap is gone and we get some fast packs. Hopefully no one races hard for 5 laps and then drifts all the way to half a lap down to stay safe and keep their car in the front row for the 500.
