I would say Stan Bowman is gaining quickly. Quite more of a degree of difficulty in the salary cap era. The Pippen Draft Day deal might be the greatest trade in NBA history though.

Krause is #2 on the list behind Stan Bowman....I'm pretty sure Theo / Jed have the potential to knock him down to #3.

None of the 6 titles happen without Jordan falling in their lap. That's not to say Krause didn't add the correct supporting cast...he did for sure. I do agree, however, that Krause had more to do with it than PHEEEEL.\

CH would have to confirm but Hossa was the last of the contracts before the true draconian rules. Either way the NBA has so many rules and exceptions to keep teams together differs from the NHL where you really can't.
