Jericho's debut anniversary was just last week...and it took place in Rosemont.

That was amazing

They should have cancelled the remainder of the PPV after the incident and played a best of Owen on Raw. I believed they did that for Benoit before they realized he was the one who murdered his wife and son.

I was a huge Benoit mark. It was a tragedy, the signs where there that he was losing it and Vince just kept using him.

From Flair's autobiography:

"Through my many years of partying, I also developed something called "alcoholic cardiomyopathy," a weakening of heart muscles," Flair stated on page 304. "I first detected that there was something wrong when my heart began skipping beats. I went to a cardiologist friend who told me that when your heart pumps, it expands to a rubber band. But mine was doing it too much. Initially, I thought that steroids might be responsible, but the doctor dismissed this theory. My heart was fluttering from thirty-five years of hitting it hard. It's the part of the price of being Ric Flair. In exchange for the glory and the good times, I acquired a heart condition, self-esteem issues, and cataracts from tanning beds—and very nearly wrecked my marriage to a great woman."

Not surprising you are trying to mitigate someone committing a horrible crime by blaming someone else.

Uh oh. My uncle had something similar and didn't make it. Went in for an aggressive heart procedure, never came out of the coma as his organs began failing until they ultimately let him go. I can not see how flair survives this. Iirc they said if my uncle had somehow recovered he would be on dialysis and all kinds of other shit forever due to the damage to the organs sustained after the procedure.

Magnum TA was in a car crash in the mid-80s; Flair's plane crash occurred in the 70s.

There were other wrestlers in Flair's plane crash; I think one died.

Damn, this sucks. They basically told me the same thing about a year before my major incident. I had double pneumonia and a virus. The one doctor told me my kidneys were failing and basically it didn't look good. A day later I was getting better. I have dodged so many bullets in my life (literally, too) I can write a book. Yet I choose to be on this board with you guys in my free time. (insert facepalm x million here)

His fiancee said she had no idea where the media got the idea that it was colon surgery. Apparently, she doesn't follow Ace Reporter Mean Gene Okerlund, who broke the fake news.

We've got some great Nature Boy news -- Ric Flair is "awake, communicating and progressing" ... according to his rep.
The legendary wrestler's been hospitalized in critical condition since early this week after undergoing surgery and suffering from multiple organ problems. ... but it sounds like he's making strides toward recovery.
He's definitely not out of the woods yet, though -- his rep Melinda says there are still "complications" ... so Ric needs his rest.
Melinda thanked fans for the outpouring of prayers and well wishes and says Flair's a survivor -- Hulk Hogan would agree -- and that he's even been able to cut a promo on a nurse.
A very, very good sign indeed. Get well soon, Nature Boy!!!

I'm sure he flashed the nurse and offered a free pass for Space Mountain.
