I went back and watched every episode of Magnum a couple of years ago. He was very good as Higgins of course. I don't remember
him from all of his other well known roles. Surprised he was still alive.

I still watch Magnum from time to time. I’ll be flipping channels and there it is. The show has aged of course but has held up better than some mid 80’s stuff.

It's not as good as I remembered it as a yute but I have some kind of irrational man crush on Magnum and to this day would love to own a
Ferrari 308 GTS.

I think it’s a completely rational man crush.

Nice. Would be awesome to own a Ferrari at a "semi-reasonable" price

Just have about that much budgeted for repairs on an ongoing basis. Knew a family growing up who owned one. Guy was a trader in the bean pit at cbot. Pretty successful I think. That damn car was in the shop 11 months a year if you listened to my mom. He had three cars. The black Ferrari, a jag and some big American sedan. I bet the sedan got more use.

I figured it would be a expensive weekend joy rider.

Yes, I have heard they are a nightmare to keep running.

Just guessing Italian cars are like that. Probably more wise to save up and wait for some steal of a deal on an old Porsche.

I’ve always wanted one. Well, a stupid super car of some sort. Unfortunately the budget would mostly frown on that as would the wife. That and it would take up prime garage sitting space.
