Because they don't build Costco in the hood.
Costs more than $1-2 for those families to get to Oak Brook. Even if they share the ride.

It's not quite the hood, but Costco did build a location at 16th and Ashland in the city.

Well then all of Chicago should be good.
Let's start on Cleveland now.
You probably catch my drift...

Fuck Cleveland. And your drift is that poor people are too stupid or lazy to figure out how to save a couple of bucks.

I've been to that Costco quite a bit. They run a tight ship over there.

He's one of the more reasonable people here if you look at his post history.

Maybe try a mirror sometime, spanky.

Yes, I may need a mirror to figure out who insulted poor people in this exchange. Or insulted....anybody.

How's your table at the bar tonight? Comfy? Can you see the TV ok?

Do you honestly not realize you insulted and stereotyped poor people in that exchange? Wow.

Enjoying the bar tonight. It’s interesting.

Where are the Costco's in the low-income areas? It's a short list.
Let's make it simple: would you say Costco caters to affluent/suburban areas, or low income/inner city areas?

It's an easy answer. No need to drag it out.

If you can clearly quote my insult/stereotype to poor people, I'd like to see it. My criticism was of the corporation(s), not the people in need.

Costco caters to middle class folks no doubt.

You seemed to be saying poor people don’t live near any Costco’s. Which is untrue and also kinda funny.

But mainly I only jumped in to defend Chet. He’s a pretty level headed guy. As I said, look at his post history if you don’t believe me.

Did I say that or not? I mean, it's not "kinda" anything.

Did I insult poor people or not?

I don't think you insulted poor people. You just showed you don't know much about who's poor and where they may be located.

I apologize for saying you insulted poor people. I was wrong. You stereotyped them but that wasn't an insult.

Nope. Didn't actually stereotype a single poor person.

I talked about where those corporations usually build their facilities.

Jesus Fucking Christ, spanky you are dumbass. All I was trying to say was that poor people get fucked in the ass by companies like Walgreens, where 20 aspirin at one of their Loop locations costs as much as 400 aspirin at Costco. So wouldn't it be nice if some charities helped poor people achieve some economies of scale for once in their lives?

I spent most of my formative years working with people who lived in the Robert Taylor Homes and worked for my dad, who came to this country with $75 sixty years ago. Saw them get redlined, saw their kids die, saw some of the less scrupulous ones steal from my dad when he would have just given stuff to them if they had asked, saw some kids escape through the military.

So don't go fucking asssuming that I don't have some understanding of the challenges, asshole.

It's true. Northlake is not nearly as posh as putting those to words together might imply. For one, it's west. Also, no lake.

They end up wandering aimlessly on the tarmac at O'Hare until a 777 squashes them during landing.

Or they end up in Stone Park, which is worse.

There is a Costco in Merrillville, a stones throw from Gary. What’s the next stupid argument around here?
