The sailor who whose kiss was memorialized on the cover of the Saturday Evening Post(I think) when he kissed a pretty stranger (who I believe was a dental assistant) on the day that the Japanese surrendered (VJ Day)recently died at the age of 95. The woman who he kissed died a few years ago at the age of 92. Hardy old souls. :) :) :)
