It's weird because the story really isn't about him. It's the next owners that are the liars making money off a story that seems to be debunked even in circles where people would believe.

I pulled up the house on google earth. You would think from the movie that its like a farm with no neighbors. Its located on a big lot if you live in a city but that its just your basic subdivision lot in a middle class suburb where you can see your neighbors on both sides

Had a Discovery documentary on in the background today. Mostly about the 2nd family (Lutz’s) that moved in. Bought it fully-furnished for $80,000 :lol:

They do mention they passed a lie-detector test.

I think Long Island was a lot more reasonable back then, even for water front property. Jackie Martling's family was white trash and they owned near there.
