Bagels, that is one of the all timers. Reminds me of the Bald Bull from Mike Tyson's Punchout.

Some of the commenters wondered the same thing. I knew a guy who drank himself to death around that age. It was a lot and it was pretty much round the clock. Very sad.

Yes, I knew someone that did the same. Wonderful guy, but had his demons....just couldn't get it together. His wife finally had to toss him and once she started showing signs of moving on with life, he literally drank himself to death. Died at 36.

I'm guessing maybe he finally OD'd? Usually if you try to drink yourself to death you end up having to be hospitalized because your organs start to shut down and you can't do much of anything including moving around.

I thought the same thing. This guy's death sounded like it was sudden and unexpected. I would think that drinking yourself to death is going to result in a lot of chronic conditions before you just drop dead. I'm guessing he really went to town one night and it was just too much.

Also, he was an active NFL coach not that long ago. I know he was the head coach's son, but I don't think you can be drunk/hungover all the time and hold down that job.
