Heard North today question whether the Antoine Walker gun-point robbery was an "inside job".

Just wondering . . .

Would he do the same if it had been Kirk Hinrich?

Basically would North pigeon-hole a white athlete like that? No! Because he doesn't say things to be factual or right. Just to raise controversy because it sells. But thankfully not enough people are buying.

I know what you're getting at NSJ and I agree. If it were Hinrich, Mike would've mentioned how terrible it was and moved on. But Walker's black, so OF COURSE there's more to the story than we know. Mike North is such a fucking Mortimer Duke.

This is the 2nd time he has had a problem with violence in Chicago in recent years. Maybe he's not associating with the best of people, and maybe he's just having bad luck. Who knows, but it made me think.

I think A Walker had his Gold Hat stolen 4 or 5 years ago at 4 Am outside the Blue Note on Milwaukee Ave.

WTF? Someone wants to rob a rich guy? The guy is from Chicago and should be allowed to go outside on the north or south side without getting robbed. It wasn't like he was out at a club or something. If a woman gets raped twice she must be doing something wrong? :roll:


Just was saying, upon hearing the headline w/no details, that this is the 2nd time he's been robbed in the past 4 or 5 years. Obviously, it looks as if he was a completely innoncent victim in this story.

He would of done a radio-a-thon against violence had it been Hinrich or Brian Urlacher. But any time a black athelete is in trouble, he skates so close to the racist remarks its amazing he hasn't gotten fined/removed from the air.

His veiled "You knows, it wouldn't of happened, you knows, I'll I'm saying is, dis type of stuff happens, you knows, to dose types of people." is amazing that he can keep on saying that stuff on the air.
