Here he goes again. "How can dey get rid of dis guy, he is hitting .262"

That's right, Mike. He is hitting .262 with no pop in his bat. He is a terrible outfielder, he has a rag arm, and for a guy with speed, he is a bad baserunner. Oh yeah, he can't stay healthy either.

"Dey gets rid of Rowand and Widger, who were the two most liked guys in da clubhouse. Then deys gets rid of Iguchi, who is leading the Phillies, now Podsednik, while Uribe keeps playin."

1. The Sox got Thome for Rowand, you idiot. They can sign Rowand this offseason of they want.

2. Chris Widger? Mike, this wasn't Johnny Bench that they let go.

3. Iguchi is just a guy, average at best. He is not leading the Phillies, he is playing until Utley get back. He is also another free agent that the Sox can resign if they want to. This was a move to see if Richar can play.

4. Podsednik, see above.

5. Uribe, I agree, he needs to go. But the fact that he brings up Uribe when talking about Pods, shows just how dumb you are Mike. Dat's exactly rite.

Mike, stick to hot dogs, Connie Francis, Errol Flynn, and Jen Jen's bra straps. When discussing anything else, you expose your ignorance.

Don't forget this gem:

"If Iguchi's first name is Juan, he's still on da team."

Fred: "Yep."

I guess mike has selective memory. Here is a listing of hispanic players that left the sox, either via trade, free agency, or sent down:

jose valentin
carlos lee
timo perez
magglio ordonez
sandy alomar
miguel olivo
roberto alomar
wilson valdez
felix diaz
arnie munoz
esteban loaiza
freddie garcia
damaso marte
orlando hernandez
luis vizcaino
agustin montero

you see, mike? hispanics have left the team as well! from what i can tell, race plays no part in who stays and who goes.

you will always be a jackass in my eyes.

mike just doesn't seem to get it. THERE WERE NO TAKERS FOR JUAN URIBE AND JOSE CONTRERAS! if there were, they'd be gone in a heartbeat

This morning was a difficult listen. I heard that whole exchange that Chus wrote and then he gave his "Jagbag of the Day" to Tiger Woods cuz'

"You better get goin'" on winning more than 18 majors like Nicklaus. "You only got 12".

At least Fred chipped in with, "he just turned 30".

Mike - "Oh, he's got 15 good years left".

Mike, that's 60 majors to win 7. I think he'll get it done and, if not, it's a little early to panic on it. Maybe if he only wins 1 in the next 5 years. But, he's not exactly fading, he won a tournament last week by 10 shots.

I turned the dial.

Are you kidding me? He went +1 yesterday on Day 1 of a major that saw 22 shoot par or better? And look at the names that did shoot low - Daly? He'll blow up one day. Woody Austin? He can't sustain. I'd be worried about Sergio, Goosen, Rose - but they only shot even par.

I'm not saying Tiger's going to win this thing, but he's got a great chance. In majors you stay near par you got a chance.

Was he seriously upset at the White Sox for getting rid of Chris Widger ? Does this have anything to do with Widger making weekly appearance on the show ?

Pappy just said you have to bring Pods back, because he is a great player. He is an average player who can't stay healthy.

I am going to apply Pappy's "logic". Hey Pappy, if his name was Gonzalez, would you be leading the charge to bring him back ?
