Does the North show feature any other special segments?

Just about any of Mike's segments are a waste of time. My personal "favorite" is "Five Team Parlay." Mike's Jagbag and Kudo's of the day also seem like they are mad up on the spot.

I thought Mike North's show was just one big rant, with Fred occasionally pulling his mouth off Mike's dick in order to agree with him.

Jagbag is simply What's You Beef with a crude name. It is a completely unoriginal idea.

Your guess is as good as mine. I suppose some folks like to have a reason to justify the existence of this section of the message board.

I don't listen to his show and when I see a new post has been created here, I'm always hoping it's in the "One Screen Name..." thread.

I know KS's affection for Mike, but really, shouldn't that thread be in the general chat section? What does it have to do with MNMS at all?

You're right Baku. I've never realized that until now.

I think the "one screen name" is a nice deviation to get rid of the moving orange bell.

Adopt a Pet was the worst.

I know many would vote for the "real estate game", certainly a new low/bad, but the simulcast w/NBC always seemed pretty stupid to me on both ends. The talking heads on NBC seemed at best amused, more often than not annoyed and if you were listening on the radio then you got 5 minutes of dumbed down(even for North) rehash of what had already been discussed in some detail(attempt) for the past 50 minutes.

The whole show is foolish. WIT is something alludes Mike and his staff.

I must apologize as sometimes, I do appreciate Rock replaying the opens at 8 AM for those of us not awake at 6 AM. Even though it seems hard for even Rock to find content for his opens so it is loaded with drop ins.

the fact that people like him and Steve Dahl still have a job in mass media radio shows that terrestrial radio is close to death.

I actually kind of liked the Jagbag & Kudo's segment when it first began. In particular, I enjoyed when North would give credit to individuals who he generally didn't care for (Kobe was one such example). Unfortunately it has devolved too often into Mike giving props to his friends & business partners - or worse - to inanimate objects.

For what it's worth, I also have disdain for his rants (just not funny or clever) & the 5-team parlay (Even North says it's bad radio - why keep doing it?)

Heard a few minutes of that , I think it was a year ago, and I will give him the fact he apears to be comfortable on the radio, but then again so was Annie.

It waa awfully boring.
