That's a tough statement to make, and I am shocked by it.

if he really said that he goes from a stupid radio jock to making mean spirited repulsive comments. There is no way even KS could possibly justify that.

I'd love to get Keeping Score's thoughts on his hero's dumbass comment.

As for North, I won't be listening to his show for a long time now...and it was becoming a nice diverson from the Mike and Mike crapfest early in the morning.

Some of that time, in Mike's opinion, would have been better spent guiding and raising children. Because Dungy took the job that effectively made him less available to his family than the facts and circumstances surrounding the latter required, his credibility to offer life advise (which the book is about) is questionable at best. So, there's the context.

Don't bring logic into a Mike North discussion.

No one deserves a suicide in the family. That's uncalled for, but Mike's still right to say. His employer also has the right to punish him for the statement. The First Amendement does not preclude them from doing so.

I find Tony Dungy unpalatable b/c of his extreme religious and homophobic views. He's entitled to them, of course, but I think he believes that the Colts were chosen by God to win the Super Bowl last year. That notion is ridiculous. Anyone want to argue to the contrary?

I wonder how it must feel for the closeted homosexuals and non-Christians on the Colts' team to know how their coach feels about them.
