If you listen to Bernstein, he really doesn't have many original thoughts about politics. He repeats the "conventional wisdom" of the mainstream talking heads in the same way North parrots conservative talking points.

Why would dan patrick stop a nationally syndicated show for a local show? I would bet he's making more than Pappy's $1.5MM now. Even if his current salary is lower, he's able to nationally promote his writing, TV appearances, etc., in a national show.

Patrik wouldn't stop his "nationally syndicated show". He would just add Chicago to him markets. It would be his national show airing in Chicago. That's all.

You know, I would have questioned that as late as my mid 30's. But, having watched my parents finish off the last tuition, helping out with the first grandkids and enjoying the hell out of every event, from LL games to school plays....to vacations, there is no question you're right (hopefully)
