That's what got Skip Bayless into hot water recently. In fact, it's the last thing I heard Mac talk about on WSCR the other day. They were discussing Bayless's comments about Dak Prescott being soft and a bad leader because he said the pandemic had "depressed" him. Bayless's point was that clinical depression is real and serious and can be treated with drugs, but Prescott's depression was more of the garden-variety sadness that is completely natural when bad things happen to you, and is not the result of a chemical imbalance. Both Mac and Parkins called Bayless a troll and Parkins said his own therapist (?) said "situational" depression was just as real as "clinical" depression.

Right, but looks are a requirement for the job. It goes for men too, though to a somewhat lesser degree. You don't see many anchors that look like Walter Cronkite these days, do you?

Because its CFMB that's why and guys have difficulty admitting they are wrong about anything.

I'm not one who regularly engages you in debate and has never posted any personal insult to you but you have to be utterly lacking in self awareness to have posted this.

The inclusion of me as part of it doesn't necessitate that the MANY aren't excluded from it. NO one here admits that they are wrong about anything around here. You have actual evidence that porn stars are part of show (which McNeil obviously knows) yet people are still willing to argue that they aren't. How "disingenuous" is that?

Jason's argument as to the illegitimacy of clinical depression was that it was only for white people because black people have more urgent problems in their lives than feeling sad. Dan, to his credit (it was a discussion of David Foster Wallace's suicide), wasn't indulging this line of attack at all, and I'm pretty sure Jason realized he wasn't gonna win this one and moved on. This was about ten years ago. I wonder if Jason allows black people to be depressed now.

I forgot how truly awful and stupid he was as a host I recall one time he and Lawrence talked about which ESPN 1000 hosts they could "throw hands with" and beat up.

Why do women wear perfume? Cuz they want to smell nice. So if somebody compliments you on that why is that sexist?

Trust me, Julie, Mac doesn't want to bang you. He wasn't trying to belittle you by saying that either. He was trying to say something nice to you. It was just a simple compliment.

I just don't get why everything is sexist with the Julie's of the world.

I guess we live in a world where just talking to a women that's not your girlfriend or wife is now sexist. I guess we can't talk to women anymore.

She's the minority, though. Most women aren't like her. She's the type that always has her fangs out looking for sexism when it's not there.

She projects to be a discourteous, selfish person who lacks self-awareness. She probably only associates with others who share the same traits, though, so, to her, being like that is normal.
