At least these guys are both showing genuine passion about the issue. Even coming out of the break, you could tell they were arguing off air. "Just say it on air, I can take it."

It's a good pairing because they have very different opinions on topics. It is not contrived at all. I still can't believe Spiegs pulls out the, "wait 10 years until you're older."

Certainly. Spieg's life lessons are basically learned through negative outcomes. You wonder if it's just dumb luck that he has failed relationships both with on air co-hosts and in his personal life? At some point, he'll need to look in that wide mirror and point the thumb. "I lost my Biscuit to the German."

He is being such a constant d-bag to Parkins.

Several years ago, during one of Mac's extended absences (or maybe when he was finally gone) Leery co-hosted with Spiegel for several days or a week. Here you had two of the most disingenuous and condescending guys at the station and Leery came off as the more likable one.

That's how bad Spiegel is.

There was a lot of petty sniping between the two and IIRC it was Spiegel who initiated it.

On a side note, Spiegel needs to be fired immediately. Every damn time I turn on the radio he's having a heart-to-heart and talking about feelings/conflict. The dude needs some serious therapy. It's a sports station.
