It would be irresponsible to see yet another replacement host installed, then given a longer contract than you, a "tenured" host if there ever was one, and not at least ask for an extension to match, and I think it's telling that he doesn't have one or that it wasn't brought up at all. Neither of which are good for one Matt Spiegel. Got to have two things going for you to do that. Talent and confidence. Both are lacking in the case of the cover singer. |

Ehhh... I listened to it... Spiegel's answer is awful, no matter how it was received, but it wasn't totally awkward because Parkins took it in stride. Spiegel's picture should be in the dictionary under "bitch", though. He doesn't realize that every time he talks shit to Parkins and it doesn't upset Parkins, Parkins wins. Spiegel never got that with Bernstein, either. |

Neither of these guys deserves the show they have. What kind of an outfit is Mitch running that cannon fodder like Abbatacola and Rozner have a point in being upset at the hiring of Parkins? This station is at its lowest point ever. Would love to see a third station headlined by Mac go against this crap. |

Mac would easily beat the score. Not sure how they would measure those results and take out the Cubs ratings. Not going to happen. CBS wins with the Cubs and we get stuck with filler. |

One other thing that came out was a question about what Spiegs may have said to his spouse/partner when he was mad beyond belief. He spun it around that he never said anything but wrote a long letter he never sent. Basically though he was definitely letting it out there that he was very upset with his ex leaving him for the work husband. Or at least very mad about how it all went down. |

I PTFB when I hear this segment coming on. It's an uncomfortable listen for me...maybe that's the point of the segment, but I don't like it. I don't find it interesting or entertaining. |
