I asked this in the The End thread. Did they mention it?

Over under on Beardown threads / topic changes to avoid owning up to how wrong he was about Terry's abscence? I say 7.

I'm pretty sure every producer Terry has ever had was a guest on his tribute show. Except for Spiegel. And it's not like Terry said "No Spiegel". He doesn't hate Spiegel. It was on drinky.

He could have had Spiegel and Goff go up together for a quick 3 or 4 minutes. That's all Goff did anyway.

Might have something to do with the "Part timer" comment Spiegel made to drinky a few years ago. Drinky never forgave or forgot. The drink got a little revenge yesterday.

 beardown your feeble attempts to take shots at drinky are so lame.

You need to find a new hobby.

I don't think it's a shot. Just a theory on what happened. Can't be an oversight. Drinky planned out the guest list weeks ago. He scheduled all of the producers expect for Spiegel.

That's cool if it was out of spite, hate or revenge. That's what the SCORE guys have been for 25 years - spiteful, hateful and revengeful. So it's fitting to get a little of that even on Terry day. That's reflective of what the SCORE has been. I'm not knocking drinky. I didn't think it was right when Spiegel called him a part timer.

Spiegel had to sing that stupid Record Company song at the Listener Poll show last night, maybe he was "protecting his instrument."

I could picture him walking around the station in a turtleneck and scarf, even on warm days, before a gig

I kind of side with Beardown on this one. It was odd.

At the very least, you'd think The Score would want him on just for promotional purposes of the current shows unrelated to the fact that he has a direct link to HFC.

I also wonder why and found it odd. But Spiegel is an odd dud full of feelings. For all we know he bowed out and had Goff do that spot solo. He is well aware of how important Terry was to Goff. Goff layed it out yesterday.

Hey, I was slighted too. I thought there should have been a mention and/or tribute about me.

So drinky got both me and Spiegel out of hate and spite. That's cool.

I agree with you that it is odd. You can point it out as odd and it is just a simple statement of wondering why it happened. It probably could have been posted in the actual last show thread to be discussed.

But that is not what Beardown is doing. There is always a different agenda for him. He has spent years around here taking shots at drinky and Goff. This here is nothing more than another attempt for him to try and get drinky to respond to him here. It is like an obsession for him.

Why hasn't this been cancelled yet? Better question.

Ummm, maybe because it already happened. Tough to cancel things at that point.

I think he meant the Spiegel and Goff show.

Spiegal was at the event. I was watching via the video. He went on stage during a break before Jiggs came on the radio. If memory serves correctly, he even took a picture of the panel when they had all the original hosts on.

Why are there still tributes going on?

That is a good question.

The SCORE replayed Terrys last show tribute deal tonight.

True, but I don't think a 12th Terry tribute will solve what ails them. Ought to do a Connor tribute. Mockingly, of course.

No on air time for Speigel during Terry's tribute speaks volumes. Not even a mention for Les either. Must have been no clowns allowed.

He wasn't THE last guest but he was a close 3rd. Shameful.

When they mentioned it earlier today, something in the back of my mind said Drinky hated Meatpants b/c I think Meatpants had in some form or fashion frowned upon how Drinky was comporting himself with some girl, maybe Icegirl even. Not saying that's true, but an odd thing to make up out of whole cloth spur of the moment years later.

There was also the time Spiegel called him a "part-timer."
